Excellent breakfast menu. Some items with a Latino flavor. I think that a lunch menu is available but have always been there for breakfast. Will not disappoint.

Stopped to eat at Ye Olde Squire based on other reviews, and it did not live up to our expectations. We did not have entrees, but shared a couple of appetizers. The poutine was was the biggest disappointment. Very dry. The french onion soup was decent, but too heavy on the red wine flavor. Overall there are better choices in Welland.

I was in Welland on business and googled "best lunch" and Evelyn's came up with good ratings. The place itself is quite small so there was not really room to eat in. The ordering process was simple...everything is listed on a small paper sheet and you check off what you want and then wait for your sandwich to be ready. I ordered the medium size which was quite large actually and had roast beef, 2 kinds of cheese, and a bunch of other stuff. Also tried a cup of the home made soup which was carrot and lentil. Everything was so good. Apparently all the ingredients are local as well. Sandwich was priced well but I found the price of the soup a bit high, but really not bad considering the quality. I will definitely be back here the next time I am in Welland.

Wonderful breakfast!! fast service, bottomless coffee and generous portions. Cash only, but they have an ATM onsite. Fluffy pancakes and amazing hash browns. We will keep going back. Nothing bad to say.

Welland's home, Welland's own. M.T. Bellies opened its doors May 27th 1993 as a family focused restaurant with the motto "Big Food, Big Fun", offering a varied menu and friendly service. With live sports show on our Rec Side (the bar), a separate function
Recently visited with a friend and we were both disappointment with the quality of the food. Soup tasted canned, mashed potatoes tasted boxed, and the sandwiches we received were both inedible. The falafal wrap so dry it was hard to swallow, and the club sandwich was filled with what seemed like deli typed meats. We did start with the Buffalo Cauliflower bites which were very tasty! The service was great as always, but the atmosphere has changed since the renovations. Purple and green velour and tapestry, just an odd look.Disappointing since this restaurant has been a staple in Welland for so long.Hi Sandra, Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your visit. We have had lots of people comment on how good the renovations are, the quality of the finish and the overall design, its a shame you don't feel the same but we respect your opinion! Our Club Ciabatta comes on a Ciabatta wrap, not bread, sorry for the confusion. As for the meat, it is stuffed with in-house roasted turkey and in-house roasted smoked ham, i'm not sure what happened there. Apologies about the falafel wrap, we can bring out extra dressing with all meals. Our soup is made fresh in-house and the chicken and mushroom that was the feature for the day is one of our more popular. If you do want to give us another chance then we'd be very grateful, its never nice to loose a guest, we do genuinely want everyone who dines at M.T. Bellies to have a great experience! Hopefully we'll see you soon. [email protected]

Living and running a business in Welland for many years . We have been eating at Taris since it opened . The location and decor of the restaurant is very unique to the area . The only restaurant on the water in Welland . This has become the best dinning experience in Welland . I was meeting with long time clients and a business associate for dinner .We arranged to have a private dinner in the wine cellar . Most people donât know about this gem of an experience . We started with some wine on the patio overlooking the Welland canal and the bridge . A beautiful fall day and a great way to start dinner . Our most gracious host Amy escorted us downstairs to the wine cellar . Beautiful room to dine in , nice glass doors, very private and well decorated . A nice simple wine list at very reasonable prices . We started with a charcuterie plate that was very good. We also added the calamari that was excellent. Amy was very attentive and new that we were there for a business meeting . She was very skilled at knowing when to leave us alone and when to interact with us . The food came in a very timely manner and served hot . I had the jerk pork chop a very nice presentation served with asparagus, brown rice and a wonderful blend of corn, beans and brown rice. The grilled pineapple was a great addition to the mix. Please note this is not a spicy dish and I was very pleasantly surprised by how good the flavours were .Two others had the salmon that was very good and presented in a wonderful way . One of my guests had the pasta dish that was amazing . The chef has a smaller menu that changes with the season. The focus is on quality and unique presentation . A great evening and wonderful experience . It is well worth the trip to Welland to visit Taris On The Water . We will be back .

We wanted a late lunch and decided to try this place out after living in Welland for 3 years. I was sceptical of the 5 star rating, but itâs well deserved. The grilled cheese was amazing - the best my fiancé has ever had. I had a cowboy burger, which was delicious. Side salads were a nice touch. The coffee was really the star... the Devilâs Mocha will get you VERY awake. As far as atmosphere, this place hits all the right notes. Consignment pieces by local artists, metal straws, board games and books available, great music... Check this place out, itâs worth going.

Enjoy the breathtaking view of Niagara Falls at Massimo's Italian Fallsview Restaurant in the Sheraton on the Falls Hotel. Chef Massimo Capra shows off his culinary skills through the refreshing take on authentic Italian cuisine.
We had great expectations for this restaurant after reading some rave reviews. Our service was excellent and the wine great. The complimentary olive bread was terrific. This is the best I can say unfortunately. The thin coating on my husbands calamari appetizer had a floury taste and the calamari was not sizzling hot. The fabulous dipping sauce could not save this dish. My Caesar salad did not have the baby lettuce as advertised but âgrandfatherâ lettuce that had dark rusty edges and was definitely not crisp. There was no anchovy or Parmesan cheese on the salad either. The dressing was garlicky but thin and watery. I tried, but could not eat this dish.We both ordered the shrimp linguine. What a disaster this was too. One large grilled shrimp adorned a pile of linguine in a tasteless thin white sauce. Not one herb, or anything else, such as onion or red peppers, in the sauce either. Two or three very thin slices of Parmesan were on top of everything. There were probably three other shrimp sliced in half surrounding the mess. We could not believe that this cost us $44 per plate. We will never return to this restaurant and would not recommend it. So disappointing for such a chef.My apologies that you did not have an excellent dining experience with us. I will be sure to share your feedback with the kitchen and hopefully we can provide you with a better dining experience in the future.
