I have eaten at the Princess Cafe several times. It is always very good. But today, my goodness, I had the best panini I have ever tasted. It was the Californian, on dark brown bread, with cheddar, avocado, grilled peppers, fresh ripe tomato, pesto, and a thick layer of herbs and arugula. Every bit of it was bursting with flavor; it was cooked to perfection. ($9)My friend had a salad with golden and red beets, fresh spinach and a bunch of other things. She said it was exceptional.

New location at 677 Belmont Avenue West in Kitchener. Same great food & service in a convenient location, with an updated decor.
Had dinner with a group of friends to celebrate two birthdays. The food was great, there was something for everyone in our group (including gluten free needs and several different eating styles). The service was wonderful, attentive and helpful and we never felt rushed. I had a fun evening and would definitely consider going back another time.

Timeless Cafe & Bakery is located in the original hen-house of a century old farm homestead in North Waterloo. Our Cafe is a hidden gem, surrounded by high-tech and other diversified businesses, and adjacent neighbourhoods. This beautiful old structure ha
I stopped here on business travel. It was a little hard to find but it was worth the search. The food was delightfully tasteful. Every single bite of the salmon wrap made me savor the flavor until the next bite. My business partner expressed the same experience. I cannot wait for a return trip!

Fresh cocktails, delicious small plates, craft beer, good wine and great tunes in one of Kitchener's fastest growing neighbourhoods. Now open in our larger location on Victoria St. !
My husband and i went to Public in October 2018 to celebrate my birthday. I'd gone another time before with some friends and had really enjoyed it. So I was excited for my husband to try this place, especially since we had just come back from our honeymoon in Spain where we had tapas on a daily basis. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The service is friendly and attentive. They have a great wine menu and lots of options for sharing. The food was absolutely delicious! The portions are meant to share, but they are still quite small and can be pricey. That being said, the food was amazing and we will likely return to celebrate another special occasion.

Located in UpTown Waterloo's historic Barrel Yards, Proof Kitchen & Lounge restaurant offers an upscale contemporary dining experience coupled with a menu that reflects a dedication to using thoughtfully chosen ingredients with a local and world conscious
Even though this restaurant is located in a hotel, the Delta Marriott, everything about the restaurant was fabulous - service, atmosphere, menu, drinks, appetizers, main course, dessert. I highly recommend eating here when in Waterloo.

Good day...five in the group....seated right away....atmosphere on a sunday was hopping...server and all involved in serving were quite professional....all dishes served were acceptable....the only quibble is the pricing....as an example, sweet potato fries came to $14.00 with tax and tip....that is a touch much....all in all, positive experience, just overpriced....

My wife was here with friends for a Friday evening and were once again, satisfied with their visit. The food was good and the service was also good. She will return.

What a lovely experience, celebrating a Laurier grad for lunch. We all enjoyed a variety of sandwiches & bowls & our server JOE was amazing. He was attentive, funny, prompt & we enjoyed his recommendations. The Congratulations dessert was just a sweet bonus ~ thank you! An upscale, comfortable, classy place...with very cool decor!

A colleague recommended The Red House for a solo dinner and I was happy I acted on it.The Red House is a charming establishment reminiscent of a B&B in Vermont or New Hampshire, but with much better fare! My colleague had recommended the curry dish, but I deviated from that (I am not v big on curry, esp. in the hands on non-Indians who seem to have a tendency to use curry powder spices in bizarre ways). Luckily there were a number of tapas style dishes that spanned East (Vietnamese style rolls) to West (lobster filled ravioli). I also had the soup.Dishes took some time coming but they were worth the wait. Well prepared, excellently presented and served with friendly hospitality. Thoroughly enjoyable! Luckily I left room for dessert and while the list was short, they were all contenders for attention. A terrific meal at a very reasonable price. A clear winner.
