Great food here, my husband especially likes the soups. Love that they have specials on the blackboard every day. The lamb is one of my favourites. They are very accommodating with personal changes to any of their dishes. For us, We find that the open mike entertainment is loud - for some reason, the entertainers feel it necessary to use amplifiers in such a small space...so we just avoid going in on those nights.

My wife and I have been looking for a good breakfast restaurant ever since our local favourite closed a couple of months ago. We kept googling every weekend but never found a satisfactory replacement........until Nathans.This restaurant is family owned and operated and the food is great! The coffee is freshly ground and the home fries are ârealâ home fries, not a frozen flavourless mound like most places. The staff was super friendly and the whole atmosphere was welcoming. Itâs now our new regular breakast place to go!

B&L is a very popular "greasy spoon" in Uxbridge. It serves your typical breakfasts made up of bacon and eggs, western sandwiches, omelettes etc. Lunch is much the same along with burgers and sandwiches. The food is average and the portions are very large. The service is fast and coffee free flowing, which might explain its popularity with workers. The unfortunate thing is the eggs are served only one way...combination of steamed and fried...scrambled and poached are not options.

love this establishment...has a dynamic local vibe and the menu is ârefined pubâ. great service (brian you are a treat!). do not miss their sticky toffee pudding ...have it with one of their special single malts to really round off an enjoyable meal in a cozy historic setting.

ambiance is still number one in town,however i would recommend you start to use real bacon and get rid of that skinny microwave stuff. for the price you should be able to substitute. good luck

We visited Wixan's Bridge for the first time earlier this week and were very pleased with everything. They had a rib special (Thursday evening) which was a very good deal. The ribs were some of the best I have ever tasted. They were so tender and had a lovely flavour. I also had the chicken soup which was full of chicken and vegetables ... perfect on a very cold night. Our server was excellent ... we were looked after well. We enjoyed the decor in the restaurant, and the washrooms had just been newly renovated. If we lived closer, we would go back often.

I went this past Friday, and this was my third visit. This is a casual dining place, also good for families. On every visit we have any leftovers as the portions are quiet big. On this visit I had the pulled jackfruit (vegetarian) sandwich w/ a side garden salad. The sandwich is big and I got through about a 1/4 of it. The jackfruit mimics pulled pork; I did find that the "meat" is softer than pulled pork. I found the sandwich on the sweeter side so I should have added some hot sauce for some kick. My son ordered the burger and fries from their kids menu, and he enjoyed it. I stole some of his fries, which were very tasty. In the past we've ordered the 1/4 chicken dinner and smoke sausage, both were juicy and tasty....with lots of leftovers again. Will be back for sure

Friends had recommended this restaurant for dinner. They were spot on. We had a wonderful meal. Our friends said they change the menu but all is delicious. We had the short ribs with garlic mashed and vegetables and a pasta dish, both meals were excellent. This place would be nice to go in the afternoon for a Charcuterie board. The atmosphere is great, so many places are very loud. This is a place where you can hear who are dining with and enjoy a meal with family and friends. We had reservations and it was a good thing, this is a very popular restaurant.Thank You for your lovely review, we do appreciate receiving your feedback and comments. My husband and I discovered this restaurant about a month ago after heading into Uxbridge and looking up some breakfast restaurants. So glad we found Urban Pantry. Staff is super friendly and always efficient. Great ambiance and love the jazzy music that plays just at the right volume in the mornings. I have been getting the chef's selection omelette at each visit. And it has never disappointed! Always cooked perfectly with a tasty filling of cheeses, veggies and/or gourmet sausage. The side fruit is always cut fresh and their rye toast is fantastic! Perfect breakfast. My husband loves the eggs benedict here. He gets it every time and always raves about it. Great restaurant. Definitely a top choice for breakfast:)
