We were pleasantly surprised at this place. We were looking for something different to order for a family party of 10. Earlier in the week, my mother-in-law spoke to Sharm (sorry if I misspelled the name). He said if we call the day before it would help, so I did. He was polite, helpful and went out of his way to make the birthday special! Delivery was exactly as ordered and on time! The food was plentiful and delicious! We had a wide range of wings, beef brisket, chicken, pulled pork etc. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed everything! Thank you for your excellent food and customer service!

We were down in Scarborough feeling like barbecue, did a quick search, and this place popped up down the 401. Seemed a great, non-chain option in the area.Really enjoyed this place. Seems family run, super friendly and casual. You'd drive by it in the strip mall if you weren't looking for it.Portions were big enough to share - my friend and I split a rib dinner and tried all the sides as well. I wasn't a huge fan of the coleslaw (I prefer creamier ones) but everything else was great, the ribs especially.Great meal, wish I lived closer to try a few other things some time. Sadly, it's a bit of a drive from my home in Toronto..

I have visited this and other Jackâs locations countless times in the past, and have always found it to be a super expensive, middle-of-the-road restaurant. It has a very hip vibe, which I enjoy, but the menu is limited and only certain items are consistently really good. I love the wings, chicken fingers, fries, Asiago bow ties and sesame chicken bowl (all of which are super pricey, but worth it). However, twice now Iâve had steak that was fatty and underwhelming. On my last visit, I had the Memphis steak (with red wine jus, and an extra red wine jus, but they must have accidentally brought me something else because they were two different colours). The steak was again quite fatty. I was starving and didnât want to send it back, but to my own detriment as I could only eat half. The side crispy onions, mashed potatoes and vegetables were very, very good. I just would never recommend ordering a steak here.If youâre going to invest in a trip to Jack Astorâs, stick with what you know. Be weary of server recommendations, they will all tell you that everything is amazing, and they all think the whole menuâs da bomb. Letâs be real... Itâs not.

Have been here many times for dinner, if you go right a dinner time there is usually a wait, particularly on the weekends. This is a great family restaurant lots of good selection and food is very good. Staff are great and get people seated as quickly as possible. Don't really like their closed in patio area.

Artisan and Specialty cheese from Canada and abroad.
Finally found a local and fabulous cheese shop! I recently stumbled across the Country Cheese Company and I am so glad that I accidentally found it. The cheese selection is quite good considering the region and we have enjoyed every trip there. What is a really nice touch is that the store keeps your purchases on file so that the next time you go in and say 'I had this great blue cheese...can't remember the name for the life of me...' and then the shop says 'no problem! have that record right here...'. It's been brilliant.

To begin..this restaurant has a huge menu to choose from. All the plates are very tasty and plentiful. I especially like the chicken fajitas which is basically enough to share. On special Saturdays. My friend enjoyed his prime rib sandwich..again a special on Saturday.Service is usually very quick and efficient. Servers are welcoming and friendly. Prices are fair.Only problem is thenoise factor. We try to sit to the left side which is quieter. We have made this a regular dining spot.

We've been going to Jasper's since they opened. The quality has no comparison- always served just right. Jenny has guided the kitchen and service since the first day, over 35 years ago. The pubs, bars and chair restaurants cannot compare It's worth the trip to Pickering wherever you are.
