I actually enjoyed the chicken here a lot more than KFC -- definitely less greasy, and yet tender and moist. The one thing I was disappointed with though, was the taters. They tasted quite dry and bland on the inside. Texture was also grainy and mashed-potato-like. I was expecting something with a little more crunch/crispness to it. Decent, but not my kind of "potato" that I like.

Tonight we had our first dinner at Santorini while celebrating Vic & Jim's 52nd wedding anniversary. The food was very good, the portions were more than adequate and our server was wonderful! Thank you Brittany for making our evening so much fun, your humour and interaction with us really made the celebration memorable. The Chocolate Baclava (Choclava) was delicious.

I ordered the Santa Fe salad from the lunch menu. The female staff member was very friendly and accomodating to my dietary restrictions. It was delicious! My co worker got the burrito and we could not believe the size of it, plus you get a beverage for $5.50! Salad was around $9 with beverage included. Love that it is family owned and operated and we will definitely be back!

The Royal Coachman is one of Napanee's oldest Restaurants. Table service with linen. Serves great chicken and steak entree's. Also serves a seafood buffet four times a month.
Reviews were consistently good, and combined with the fact the place has been in business for decades, we finally decided to stop in. Although it was "seafood buffet night", we elected to order from the menu. The seafood buffet had several interesting-looking items, but they weren't labelled. Many were self-evident, but some of the mixed dishes (e.g. a jambalaya?) could have been clarified. We were also told there was a "catch of the day" but there was nothing to identify what that was. We ordered scallops as a starter, and beef wellingtons for our mains. The scallops were cooked acceptably; any more time and they would have been rubbery. They were swimming besides a literal "lake" of ordinary cocktail sauce, far too much for the number of scallops. The beef in the beef wellington was cooked as we were told, i.e., medium rare, although a bit stringy. The platter on which it was served had a large serving of glazed carrots, a mound of mixed vegetabvles, and a baked potato. The servings were certainly large: for us, who are used to smaller portions, it was actually too much and we regrettably had to leave a lot of food on the plate. Although the presentation of the pastry around the beef wellington was very creatively done, there was a considerable amount of excess. The supersized servings and lackluster side vegetables are out of touch with contemporary service. Given the popularity of the place, I'd recommend it to those who appreciate large meals, but it wasn't for me.

During our stay in napanee we decided to eat at rhis restaurant mainly because we were staying at rhe motel across the street and could walk there. The restaurant closes at 8:00 pm and we arrived around 7:00. At that time they had already run out of some menue choices. We ordered thw turkey dinner and fish and chips. The food arrived in an appropriate amount of time, however we never received the salad that was included when ordering an entree. The food was just okay. Nothing special or "homemade" about it. In fact we saw the cook heating up portions of our dinner in the microwave. Would i eat there again? No. Would i recommend this restaurant? Perhaps for breakfast, but certainly not dinner. Spend the extra money and have a nicer meal.

I have been to this pub a few times over the years. The food is very good. The service is dead slow and it is known to have some decent music.

Sometimes one comes across a business that has captured a unique spirit in the staff, product and service it offers.Ellena's Cafe has captured that. It is pretty neat with an ecclectic mix of great food, rock solid staff, a nicely appointed store and a complimentary business or two that rent there. Cool stuff, that seems like it blends well.

Having a hard time understanding the thought process of placing fish on a plate SOAKED with coleslaw. When asked how my meal was (because she waited until we were done to come back) I told her exactly how it was. Soaked fish. Now, itâs not the food quality thatâs the issue, itâs the literal response I got âwell you should have asked for the coleslaw in a side dishâ LOL GIRL OK. You work here, not me, it should be assumed that anyone who knows their left nut from a spatula should know that it will get soggy and not expect a first time customer to know to make these requests. She shrugged her shoulders after I showed her the uneaten mush halibut on my plate said âokaaayâ and walked away. STAY HOME AND MICROWAVE SOME FISH IF YOUR EXPECTING SERVICE, if any at all ââï¸Hi ChantalThank you for making us aware of your server issue. I am not making excuses for my daughter, however she was really not on her game. We had just been made aware that my mother was terminal, and has since passed away. Please accept our apoligy, and dine again with us complimentary on me.

We visited The Waterfront for dinner. The service was really great. Our waitress was René.She was friendly, smiley and attentive. She really seemed to enjoy her job. The meal was deliscious.
