Old Style, Truck-Stop restaurant \ DinerIf it's fried, then they have it on the menu. This is basic fair for truckers. If your used to "real" truck stops, then this could be an eye opener for you.Reality, this is a very busy place, if you want to see "Canadiana", this is really it.Real working folks, and travellers stop here.Come in, sit down and listen to people. I recommend the breakfast. (And only the breakfast)Itâs expensive for what it is. But it is always open. (Yes you pay extra for that)Highway 17 is closed, and you need to stop?Driving through 3am?This is where you will find hot food, and crappy coffee, interesting conversations with locals and travellers alike.Everything in Canada passes through here. Watching the trucks and campers come in is always interesting. How is the Highway for 400 km in either direction, someone will know...This is the middle of Canada, and there is no other way around...
Family restaurant. New menu introduced April 24, 2018. Good choice of foods, such as Butter Chicken, Fish and Chips, Ribs (unlimited every Thursdays). Freshly made dishes. Daily LUNCH BUFFET and Saturday and Sundays Brunch. THEME NIGHTS: Mondays is Steak
What a great place to eat. They are very accommodating for special diets such gluten free or vegetarian. Highly recommended place to eat in Dryden
It's not pretentious or brilliantly decorated but I highly recommend the humble cafe/restaurant at The Chalet Inn Motel and Restaurant on the Trans Canada Highway in Dryden Ontario. Their food is tasty, generous portion sizes and family fare, and their breakfasts are excellent. If you want fancy decor go elsewhere but for solid tasty well prepared food and fast friendly service I do recommend a stop here.

Honestly I don't really remember the food, but the atmosphere was straight out of the 80's and we sat next to a lizard...a live lizard. Good baking at the front counter.

Locally owned Had ribs and Chicken breast combo. Ribs were meaty and chicken was a real chicken breast. Not some compressed parts formed into the shape of a chicken breast. Came with a Greek salad that was awesome. Quality food. Rustic setting. Service is frieyand great.

The staff here are a lot of fun. They are always smiling and joking with their customers. They are efficient and attentive to your order. Very friendly and the food is fresh. They put the right amount of items on your sub too, never skimping out of things like green peppers. I was really impressed. Th friendliness made me want to go back the next day too. Great customer service and fresh food.

We were staying at the Best Western so we were happy to see a restaurant on site. We went for supper in the bar. Great service and wine by the litre. I had the steak sand which was huge and cooked nice but could have used more seasoning. Hubby had the ribs and enjoyed them although a little mushy. We had breakfast in the restaurant section in the morning and the service wasn't nearly as good but really good eggs Benny and corn beef hash. Took forever to get the bill and then again to pay but the food was worth itThank you Sherry for taking the time to share your restaurant experience with others. It was great to read your enjoyed your dinners and the great service in the Lounge. Please accept our apologies for the morning issues. We appreciate all of our guests feedback and use it to make better decisions.

My wife and I eat her regularly and are never disappointed. The menu varies daily. The food is very well prepared and served at a reasonable cost. We recommend this diner\restaurant.

the quality of food and service on the inside of this family restaurant is incredible considering the outside of the joint. We shared an order of potato perogies and a noodle bowl with steak. both were filling, tasty, and yummy. we could not believe how busy the joint was in the middle of the week in a small town. Service was friendly, chatty, nice, attentive and responsive.

Serving lunch and dinner. Fine dining 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm Monday to Saturday in the dining room. Lounge meals available 11:00 am to 10:00 pm Monday to Saturday. Closed Sundays and major holidays.
We have eaten here 4 days straight and they are always good. Salads, soups, sandwiches were tasty and good portions. I really liked the fish tacos. The onion soup was not my fave although it was recommended.
