The halibut was very good, the fries were a little greasy. Friendly staff and quick service. The portions are huge but the quality is good. Don't expect a large storefront, its a small space but large enough to serve good food.

My sister orders from here on a regular basis, while visiting her, we ordered several pizzas and a salad for pick up. The bacon on the pizza was dynamite, the fake bacon on the Caesar salad was typical fake bacon, I would pay more for the real bacon, hopefully it is an option next time we order.
We were exploring downtown Toronto, when my son suggested finding a food truck to eat at. He downloaded a Toronto food truck app, and found the trucks closest to our location. We examined the menu of the two trucks parked together, and decided to eat at dobro jesti. What an excellent idea! We shared the risotto rice balls, which were good, but we are used to meat in huge centre. We also shared schnitzel on za rye. We had one pork cutlet and one chicken cutlet on the sandwich. The food was outstanding!
Yesterday I drove out there. Paid $13.99 for 5 horrendous cabbage rolls. Cabbage so tough we couldn't even cut it with a steak knife! We ate some of the " innards"--very little rice and meat. Tasteless, too. --- Yes, I followed the cooking instructions. Yes, they were the correct temperature. I should have went to Skarsky's or Denninger's instead. Lot closer, too.

My husband and I ate here for breakfast, expecting a cut above the other usual breakfast places, given several other people's reviews. After the experience, we wondered if the reviews we read were for another restaurant. We went in expecting a more upscale place and found the decor to be what you expect at an older, plaza type store. The servers were courteous and polite. The kitchen is visible from the restaurant and I am not sure that there was one person over the age of 19 working back there. I ordered the usual breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon and homefries. All with my order was ok. Nothing fancy at all, and the potatoes were burnt on the outside and just cooked on the inside - oversized. My husband ordered the hash with ham, and literally maybe got all of 5 tiny pieves of very thinly sliced ham, and again, burnt potatoes. The onions were raw. Not a great presentation at all, and hardly what you could actually call a "hash". Was just a hug load of overcooked potatoes thrown on top of some eggs. The only thing about the breakfast that was unique was the marble rye bread and the price. Higher than the average breakfast. We will not return, given that we can get a much tastier breakfast at a more reasonable price at several other places close by.

ordered two breakfasts, eggs benedict, two orange juices.... was charged $30????? When asked about the price, the waitress just shrugged it off and wouldn't really reply. The waitress was standing in the back on her cell phone the entire time, and complaining about her dentist appointment and her teeth hurting very loudly in the restaurant. I won't be back.

This feels like a hidden gem to me! Wiggie's has been there forever and I had no idea how great the pizza is til now. Everyone goes there but no one talks about it! Perfect handmade stone oven pizza... nice toppings, good amount of cheese... just right! Wings and garlic bread didn't disappoint either. I will say there were a few drunks at the bar and making some fuss on a Tuesday night. It is a pub and you may find a few regulars hanging off the bar it seems.

We met friends for dinner here last night and were disappointed with our meals. My husband and myself ordered the 10 Vegetable noodle bowl, his vegetarian and mine with shrimp. It took a long time to arrive and when it did they brought mine with chicken and when I stated that my order was with shrimp all they did was take it back to the kitchen and added shrimp and served it up again. The noodles and the vegetables were over cooked and saturated in this horrible sauce and served Luke warm. My husband ate 1/3 and I only ate the shrimp. We told the waitress that the food wasnât very good and she didnât offer an apology or a discount. We payed for this over priced substandard food but it will be the last time we go to the Argyle Street Grill in Caledonia!Hello CathyMy name is Kevin and I am an owner of the The Argyle Street Grill. The Founders Victor Walewski and his son Peter founded the restaurant in 1995 as a father and son team. Victor came to Canada on the Queen Mary in the 1950's and continue his trade in the culinary business. A classicly trained European chef, Mr. Walewski
Visited Cornerstone this past Friday. I have never tried the "quesadills" and although I could't finish (I did eat 3/4's) will definitely be on my list of favorites. Service is exceptional and atmosphere always friendly, The Cornerstone Salad is also a "keeper.."Wonderful to have this 1st class restaurant close by in town.
