This feels a little odd, reviewing a pizzaria, since I almost exclusively write about sit-down restaurants, but this one is worth the exception. I'll state up front that I *love* Middle-Eastern food. The variety in tastes, the subtleties of the spices, the colourfulness of the presentation - There is nothing not to like about Middle Eastern food that is done well. Donairs were introduced to me by a childhood friend, in my teens and have long-since been a favourite. I have learned, that, just like most other food, there is a "right" and a "wrong" way to make a really *good* donair. Milano's certainly gets it right! The wonderful mix of veggies, meat and sauce are a treat to the palate! Most importantly, to me, the sauce is not only the right amount, but placed right, in the donair: A great donair does not get mushy and fall apart when you are eating it. There should not be a "slush" left over on your plate or the foil it was wrapped with - And it is a certainty that you will get to enjoy ALL of your donair from Milano's, in Arnprior!By the by: If they ask if you want the pickled turnip in your donair: Say YES! Even if you are not normally a turnip fan, these *really* add to the wonderful taste contrasts of this wonderful food!Best to eat their donairs on an empty stomach, because it is a *generous* serving size, too!Price is reasonable and the staff are definitely friendly, helpful and courteous!

What a treat to have dinner at one of my favourite lunch time spots. My husband took me here for a special Valentine's Day dinner. Excellent bruschetta or salad for starters. Roast beef (although well done, it was delicious and exactly the way my husband likes it) with roasted Parmesan baby potatoes and gravy. It had green beans, too, but they were over cooked and had a different tasting seasoning. And there was an excellent cheese cake with a cherry topping. A generous glass of an organic Merlot rounded out our reasonably priced dinner. Melissa also spoke to each husband/partner ahead of time and arranged and wrapped and put a gift tag on a single rose, bouquet, bottle of wine or gift card to the Downtown Spa for the wives. A very nice touch that saved the lads from having to shop!I have been here often for lunches with friends. The meals are lovingly and freshly prepared. You should not be in too big of a hurry as it is a one woman show in the kitchen. But the crispy harvest chicken panini, the excellent pad Thai, the Asian pork lettuce wraps or the homemade soup are well worth the wait. I am working my way through the varied menu and have not been disappointed. I am intrigued that Melissa is organizing activities Friday evening activities such as live music to accompany hors d'oeuvres and wine. I hope this little gem of a restaurant continues to do well.

The service here is excellent. I come with my niece who always asks for pancakes with chocolate chips, and whip cream. Even though it is not on the menu, she can get it. And, gluten free toast! Greatly appreciated!

I will never ever eat there again. The service was slow, the food was just ok. The prices had changed three times and they did not update their menus to show the changes. When one is not expecting such a jump in prices from the menu price and the the end price on the receipt. it becomes a shock. All the manager will say is she will not put stickers on the menu cause it looks tacky, yet she expects the customer to read their minds or to read the very fine print on the back of the menu. She claims that the was a warning on the front but I am sorry I don't read the front of the menu as I know what restaurant I am at when I go in. My thing is that the prices went up twice before the finally price increase so why was the menu not changed to reflect those changes. People are not stupid like they may think we are. If they can't afford to change the menu then put the stickers on it to show the price changes, don't shock people when they get their bill.

We ordered takeout. The restaurant itself is a little old looking. We ordered three large pizzas for six people, and we had leftovers. The pizzas were very good, the dough was soft and there was a very nice crust. The service was fast and the pizzas were still hot when we got back. Highly recommended.

I had a late lunch here so only ordered a cheeseburger with bacon and a coffee, but the burger was delicious (and I'm a picky eater). The coffee was excellent, too. The waitress was pleasant and cheerful, and the service was fast. I would definitely go back again.

We two couples came for dinner on a Wednesday evening. Each evening there is a special on, and Wednesday is Pizza Night. First though we shared a plate of poutine, just to try this Canadian specialty of potato fries covered in gravy with melted cheese curds on top. It was ok, we can tick it off our to-do list. We shared a large pizza with 3 toppings--sausage, pepperoni and mushroom. It was large enough to satisfy our hunger and was tasty. Our server Doreen was really nice and helpful, super friendly.

And they are open on holidays. They have real and excellent food. They have gluten free stuff. Sell bread and bakery goods. Stuff to go. A boutique. A variety store. A Gas bar. They have it all, and the food is excellent and its clean. What else do you want. It beats the alternative. I mean it, its good food.

We chose this downtown Arnpror restaurant to have dinner on the occasion of our anniversary as it has received favourable reviews. WOW is all I can saw. The our meals were amazingly delicious. While we were there late afternoon, all tables had been reserved for the dinner hour. That in itself speaks volumes for the wonderful reputation that this restaurant has.
