This is a great location and could be a busy local favorite. Problem is they service is lacking...horribly slow, over priced wines and craft beer and be careful what you eat. Twice I have been very ill after eating here. Hope someone that knows how to better manage can fix this place...it could be a little gold mine...instead I am very surprised how they are still in business.

We love this location! Lots of parking, very welcoming and service is always great! Food orders don't get missed and they pay attention to my peanut/nut allergy well. Enjoyed our meals this time, turkey club and taco salad. Everything was so tasty and good! Can't wait to return and try something new again

We had lunch at Maria's for the first time in early May. We were happy to learn that they have keto friendly options. They were happy to swap out the bread and potatoes for tomatoes. The service was great, so much so that the waitress sent us home with a free sample of their keto friendly chili. It was fantastic. We will be moving to the area soon and looking forward to frequenting Maria's for good home made food. Thank you.Thank you so much for joining us. We appreciate you and your business. We look forward to seeing you both in the future

Chose the large pizza, chicken and fries package. Food was great. Chicken and pizza amazing. Fries were great too. Enough for a meal and leftovers for next day for 3. We had it delivered during a rain storm. Staff was great from ordering to delivery.

So many new items to choose from and as always, a great selection of beverages. We had dinner with 2 good friends and all enjoyed trying out something from the new menu. We also enjoyed the super service from Candice. Can't wait to see what they come up with next. Also, booking a special dinner in their new addition on the 2nd floor. More to come after our visit.

Lord Amherst provides old world charm and a cozy, rustic retreat to enjoy a bite to eat and a cold beverage or two with friends.
Tried the Lord Amherst Public House and Wine Lounge for lunch. Very good British/Irish/Canadian pub menu. Excellent selection of imported draft beers. The traditional fish & chips are highly recommended. Service was good and the restaurant has some rustic ambiance. Will try again!

We have enjoyed many excellent breakfasts and lunches at this nice friendly little gem located on a side street downtown Amherstburg. The soup of the day is always fresh and delicious as are the sandwiches and breakfasts. The staff is pleasant and welcoming. Just remember to bring cash with you.

A special evening with special friends ~ both the food & service that Pat provided were excellent. We all had something different and every dish was prepared perfectly and they certainly give generous portions. I enjoyed half of my spagetti & meatballs for lunch yesterday. We had the front table overlooking the river ~ a super evening for super friends celebrating their anniversary.

Several of us stopped in for supper on Saturday. The last summer weekend of the year and the place was busy. Staff are very attentive and pleasant. Food was all quite good and good value and everyone enjoyed their plates. Food and facilities are informal and generally reasonably healthy and authentic. Will return again without hesitation
