Tangerine is our local favourite for Hakka food, so we ordered take out of some of our usual dishes (dry chili chicken, house special Hakka noodles as well as the spicy deep fried tiger prawns and the mango paneer). I've never tasted mango paneer, but was glad that we ordered it. It had crispy fried paneer with firm pieces of mango and was delicious. The chili chicken and Hakka noodles were as good as usual. I didn't try the shrimp as there was so much food, in fact enough for another meal.

Upon recommendation from our hotel front desk , we decided to order from this place. After checking the reviews it was decided to order from here as it was a bit cheaper from the #1 voted chinese restaurant. The delivery time was faster than we were tpold, which was encouraging. The Chicken Balls order was the only entre that was worth paying for.Egg Rolls were greasy and not good.Beef & Brocolli order had not more than 5 small pieces of beef, as Wendy's used to say "" Where's the BEEF "Chicken Fried Rice was not only a bit greasy tasting but the pieces of chiken in thid dish if you could find some we not much larger than the grains of rice.Lastly, the noodles & vegetables dish was probably the worst. The brocolli used in this dish was not the same quality as the one used in the Beef & Broccolli entre plus flavour not the best.Be advised that it is rare that I rate a place this low, but in this group of 3 , two of us are very familiar with ordering on the road due to our careers . One retired from it & the other person still travelling extinsively about 150 days and ordering regularly. All with the same conclusion - NEVER AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!

My daughter and I went for the all you can eat lunch. Toooo pricey! Because itâs the weekend itâs 17.99 each! Can you really eat that much rice? They double rolled the rolls to make them look bigger when really you where just getting a lot more rice.

This is the worst sushi I have ever experienced and I'v tried some pretty bad ones. The person making the rolls clearly does not care, because the rolls just fall apart with no presentation at all. Tiniest piece of fish ever in each roll that were room temperature and tasted like spearmint for some reason. I am a 100% positive that this restaurant waters down their soya sauce. My sauce was not salty and was clear/transparent. I confronted the waitress about this and she denied it. Place was empty on a Wednesday night, I wonder why. I don't understand why there are a lot of positive reviews, maybe they have gone down hill in recent months/years. One beer and all-you can eat sushi was 30 dollars- what a joke. I guess its difficult to make half decent sushi when you just don't care.

Although for years, we most often have ordered from Maple Garden Chinese food restaurant, we initially thought we'd order from nearby Mandarin. It was a Sunday at dinnertime and the Mandarin informed us that delivery would be at least an hour and a half (not enough delivery people). We clearly weren't waiting that long so opted for a return to Maple Garden. We are so glad we did and will always keep them as our "go to" Chinese food option. The food was delivered hot and delicious, at a reasonable price and within the designated 45 minute window, even though they are three times the distance away from our house. Thanks Maple Garden, you've done it again. We will never again be tempted by the other options!

Our latest visit to DeSiam matched our earlier visits with cheerful service & delicious food. My Wife had Sweet & Sour Chicken which was delicious. I ordered soup which was spicy, full of vegetables & tasty. We both needed boxes to bring home the rest of our meals. We don't live nearby or we'd visit more often.

Hi, I just ate there last night. Two ladies getting out for dinner. We met there at 6:30pm.I am currently on a gluten-free diet. I phoned ahead and asked if they have gluten-free food and they told me Yes, and a couple of suggested menu items. Then when I got there, I was very pleased to see that there are MANY gluten-free options on their menu! It was great.I was thinking of getting the Pad Thai, but ended up settling on the Cashew Nut Chicken. I really liked the flavour of the sauce. Although the menu displays a chili pepper indicating it is mildly spicy, I didn't find it spicy at all. I know everyone's palate is different though. But I'm the kind of person who can only eat mild or medium and I don't like hot. So I was surprised how tame this was. Lots of nice chunks of bell peppers, onion, chicken, and of course cashews. Served with nice bowl of jasmine rice. I ate it all, was delicious. My friend enjoyed her food too.The place is small and simple and unassuming. The server was friendly enough and helpful, but perhaps not super attentive. We had to get up to pay - I'm not sure if this is one of those places where they do not bring a bill to the table, or what - but we got tired of waiting for a bill and finally just got up to pay. On a Monday night at 6:30pm there was only one or two other tables being used.I would eat there again, would like to try some more of the menu items. This place has it's own parking lot which is accessible both from Dundas south side AND from the little side street the bakery in the same plaza sides onto (Centre Street S).My total, for Cashew Nut Chicken and a ginger ale, was $14-something. Very good price for what I got.

For some years now my family has gotten hooked on Pho restaurants. Large portions, great prices and really tasty food...usually. This place disappointed. Never had such a bland Pho meal in my life. Their fresh herbs only include basil..and very little of that...a tiny piece of lime and a little hot red pepper (more pepper was NOT needed though). But it simply seemed like a bowl of somewhat flavored water with noodles. Oh yeah, the meat....Never have I seen such a tiny, measly portion of meat in a Pho soup as here. I had the large yet the amount of meat was perhaps 1/3 of what I have gotten with small or medium bowls elsewhere..and those places have the same prices. So not sure if I was more disappointed with the lack of fresh herbs, the bland flavor of the soup or the tiny portion of meat. Clean place and very friendly service though. Perhaps their other offerings are better but if you put "Pho" in the name of your restaurant...it should be good.

We visited as a group of four with a reservation for the teppanyaki tableThey have 2 tables back to back, extremely bright lights and in my opinion not good unless you have a large groupThe food was fantastic, the service was great but the chef was boring with only a couple of entertaining moves and cooking techniques We will try them again with a larger group and hopefully have a better experience
