Asian inspired snacks and well-crafted cocktails in the heart of downtown Collingwood
We have been waiting for this place to open all summer and we were not disappointed. Delicious food. Great cocktails. Fantastic service. It was their first Friday night service and you couldn't tell. They handled the busy crowd like pros. Well organized and efficient. The menu is simple but perfect. We sampled five excellent dishes and were more than satisfied. This place fills a food niche missing in Collingwood's varied food scene. We will definitely be back soon.

Green Mango Tree Thai Fusion invites you to their establishment. Come experience their casual surrounding. They are open after-hours all week and are readily reachable by car. You can pay by American Express, MasterCard and Visa.
Clean, bright restaurant with a huge menu of Thai dishes, many offered with choice of basmati, sticky rice or roti. Green tea comes in beautiful individual pots on wooden trivets. On our visit, the green curry chicken was wonderful - perfectly spiced, with lots of chicken, peppers, broccoli and zucchini in the sauce - but the chicken pad thai was disappointingly without any veggies and almost no chickem, although the noodles and sauce were delicious. You canât go wrong with the rice paper vegetable rolls as an appetizer. We would try it again, but maybe not for the pad Thai.

This place, to be completely honest, looks less than appealing from the outside but get past that and you will find some really good all you can eat sushi at pretty good prices. There is a good selection and it tasted fresh and delicious. Will definitely be going back.

I ordered a combination plate almost identical to what I had from another place in town. Price was almost identical too. However these people included and egg roll. The egg roll was oily on the side that was down in the bag. The breaded chicken was a little over done , the batter was crispy and darker in color, The brocoli was a very generous portion as was the beef. It had a gravy of sorts on it. The rice was very dark in color and obviously had plenty of soya sause added to it. there are still a couple more places to try in town.

On my recent visit to Collingwood I found this restaurant via Google search. Since I'm a German I may give my feedback. I loved the rustic decoration and atmosphere and the mainly Bavarian style decoration. It feels like a restaurant (or Kneipe) you will find in most Austrian or Bavarian ski-resorts, my waitress was very friendly and fast with the service. I missed the option of getting Sauerkraut and/or Spaetzle. Good selection of beer and schnapps.

My husband and I visited Sushi Hon for the first time last night! We shared a Sushi Boat, which came with Miso Soup and House Salad for each of us to start. The portions were generous, and the prices very reasonable. Although we went on a Friday evening, we were seated right away and our server was prompt and knowledgeable. We will definitely return the next time we're in need of a Sushi fix!

Stopped in for a pre movie dinner. Staff were great with the suggestions and we decided on a sushi combination boat. Every bite was great and despite our best efforts we had leftovers. Can't wait for lunch tomorrow!Yummy, fast and friendly.

We were greeted with a lovely smile by a friendly and hospitable woman who efficiently took our small order and had it ready in a timely fashion. She even offered us a seat and water while we waited. She allowed us to customize our tofu and vegetables to tofu and bok choy. It was a different kind of tofu than the usual cubed block style tofu, rather it was a softer Tudor that soaked up the black bean sauce beautifully. We had hot and sour soup, won ton soup and egg drop soup...all delicious. The hot and sour was indeed hot (not overly spicy) and sour and not gelatinous, beautiful silky texture. The wonton soup had 5 tender pork-filled wonton in a delicate but flavourful broth. The egg drop soup had the same delicious brith generously strewed with strands of egg drop and mushrooms. This Chinese Food restaurant cares about what they feed customers and how they are treated.Note:each table for eat in service is spotlessly clean and set, with condiments and little scissors at each table to avoid the âcondiment packet explosionâ.Fast, delicious, friendly and thoughtful!
