Came here under a friends recommendation who absolutely loves this place. We both got eggs Benedict with their traditional home fries. Price was fantastic and the potatoes were AMAZING. Absolutely loved the breakfast potatoes and would recommend highly. The Benedict was good but not the best Iâve ever had. Staff was quick, kind. The food came fairly fast. Would recommend overall.

The Village Restaurant is our little corner in The Creek. Our recently-renovated restaurant in Stoney Creek features an extensive menu that is sure to satisfy even the most discriminating of tastes! We are open at 8am for breakfast, lunch & dinner daily.
Recently ate Dinner here for a family birthday party. Chicken Quesadilla made me sick, spent the whole next day running to the bathroom. Never going back !Thank you for letting us know and Iâm not sure what happened? I really wished you would have called us immediately the next day so that we could investigate ... All of our food is made fresh and food turn-over is quick. Please feel free to email me at [email protected] so that I can understand better. I apologize if there was something in your meal that did not agree with you. Hoping you are feeling better! Mary & Staff.

radius Hamilton offers handcrafted cocktails and chef prepared dishes served in beautiful spaces that date back to Hamilton circa 1874, with original 16 foot tin ceilings.
Beautiful place. Amazing food. Lots of food. Clean. Fantastic staff. We went on a Monday so it was fairly quiet but the staff were fantastically attentive. The food tasted amazing. Highly recommend the melon and prosciutto and the Huli Huli Chicken. Although the price is a little higher, the taste of food and amount of food is 0 worth it. Will definitely return.

A casual and authentic Southern Barbeque joint in the country.
Stopped in on the way to Niagara.Easy to get too, lots of parking, building inside and out has lots of character.Ordered ribs, with fries, beans, mac & cheese and tater tots.Ribs were nicely smoked covered with an intense flavoured sauce, unlike any rib sauce I have ever had. It had texture, you could feel the spices in it. Not smooth like most sauces.Sides were all good, love the tater tots... child hood memories.good place to stop if your in the area... rumour has it a reservation might be a good idea if its a planned outing. Our waiter Mr. O'toole was outstanding, and very entertaining.

We took the family to The Keg to celebrate our grandsonâs graduation. I have never had a bad meal in a Keg since my first visit to the original Keg and Cleaver in North Vancouver. Our sever, Ashley was very personable and helpful, enhancing our dining experience. Our steaks were perfect and even the younger kids cleaned their plates. They have a nice, reasonably priced wine list and good desserts. If you havenât tried it you should go.

We tried the second new location tonight. Beautiful place. Terrific atmosphere and great service. The food today was good, but not outstanding. I had better choices on the other location. We ordered the calamari (excellent but small pieces), the avocado deluxe (the description is so good that we couldnât resist, but unfortunately it was a disappointment), the quinoa salad was excellent and big enough to share; the Buddha bow was nice; the seafood pappardelle was good but there was a lack of salt and heat; for desert we had the peach upside down, which, in my opinion, was the star of tonight. have the two cooking books from this restaurant and I do recommend it. The one recipe that I keep repeating is the short ribs.

Mattson & Co. is an elegant restaurant and jazz lounge located on a busy corner in Hamilton's west end, overlooking the bustling and trendy Locke Street.
We have been going to Mattson and Co for several years. We keep going back because the food is incredible and the service is excellent. The brunch is especially good, but everything is delicious. Also have used them for small group events and catering and would highly recommend.Thank you for your kind words and patronage. We are so grateful to all of our guests, but especially to regulars like you who have become more like family to us. We appreciate your review and all of your support of our business over the years. You are why we do what we do.

I went for lunch today with my family. Staff was rude, turned multiple people away when there were empty tables. Blatantly lied about time to turn over tables. Ie saying two hour wait when many spots outside open. Took a long time to take order, mixed up drinks, asked for bill two times before brought out. When we received the bill they were wrong. Music included songs with multiple swear words, including one about âb@$@$&$ and hosâ and explicit sexual content. It was hard to then discuss this with our 8 year old niece. Even if she wasnât there I wouldnât have enjoyed that. Only positive - food was good. We wonât be back to this location however, as the staff was not welcoming at all, and the atmosphere was miserable.

This was my third time visiting The Ship. This time was just for drinks and a snack. Surprisingly the place was not busy, a change from my previous visits. The sweet potato fries and dip were AMAZING, a great complement to a beer. Keep in mind this place is 21+ on weekend nights.
