My wife and I have lived in the area for the past five years and had never visited the restaraunt. We popped in one Sunday and had a fantastic meal. The food, the service all top class.We decided to go back again tonight and the boss remembered us and gave us the same table as before, even remembering my wife's wine order from our previous visit even though he wasnt the one serving us.Once again the food and service was outstanding, and so happy to have this gem on our doorstep!Thank you for your fantastic feedback, we are glad that you have enjoyed the best of the award-winning Garden of India. When the order for 15 adults was taken we were told it would be an hour for delivery. This was acceptable and the fare arrived in 55 minutes. The driver was polite and efficient.The food was hot, very tasty and gave good value for money. None of the dishes was below an acceptable standard. Overall we were all pleased.

Our food here was excellent and made freshly but quickly. It was a Wednesday night and so pretty empty but there was little atmosphere which is a shame but can be worked on as the food is worth 5/5. Thanks for the awesome review, Nicki! We work hard to meet expectations like yours, and weâre happy to hear that you enjoyed your meal, Wednesday is middle of the week therefore it's not that busy night for us but please visit us on weekends we hope you will see the beautiful atmosphere at jehan curry hut. I wouldnât wish this restaurant on my worst enemy!The staff were rude and had a bad attitude, rolling of eyes telling us there was a minimum spend even though for 7pm on a Saturday evening the restaurant was empty.The food was expensive, small portion sizes of not good quality food.I canât understand how they have such good reviews unless they have paid for them or got the staff to write them?Honestly the worst restaurant EVER!Dear Guest,Our apologies you did not have a great time and weâd love for you to send us an email with the events that occurred so we can follow up and train up where needed, to better the experience. For all groups over 8 there is always a minimum spend, our plates are very generous in comparison to other high end establishments, we are a BYO alcohol venue, we have to be able to impose some restrictions which is always explained before confirming the booking. We do not force our guests to write any reviews just to enjoy our venue, perhaps the casual dining lounge would be a better [email protected]

The staff were really attentive and friendly. We wanted to celebrate our neighbour's 70th birthday so eleven of us neighbours put on a surpise party for her at the Vojan. What a great evening. the staff were absolutely wonderful, the food was perfect and they even allowed us to bring a cake which they brought to the table singing "Happy Birthday".

Went here on a recommendation and wasn't disappointed.Nice warm welcome and service. Usual standard dishes available but also the exclusive menu with a different kind of Indian food to the norm was great. I had a lamb shank Mogul style and it was beautiful.Had an early table with the kids and everyone loved it.Definitely going back for some more of the exclusive mogul dishes.

Eight of us visited on Saturday 27th April, for my daughter's 21st birthday. We live in Shenfield but the Indian restaurants there are of mediocre quality with high prices. Found the Spice Masala about 8 months ago and although it's a 20 minute drive it's worth it. We had an excellent meal with very attentive service. We didn't mention the birthday but the waiters must have seen that she had some cards to open at the table. At the end of the meal they brought out an ice cream cake with a candle and sang Happy Birthday! Food was very tasty, meat/chicken tender and flavourful. In fact we drove past on Sunday morning and said we would like to go back for more! This has become out favourite Indian restaurant for miles. Highly recommended.
