We stopped here for breakfast on our way through to Loess Hills, and enjoyed our delicious food and the courtesy of the service staff. Prices are very reasonable here, and, if you go on a Sunday, you get a free sundae! Highly recommend it. My only small issue was that the maple syrup wasn't real maple syrup, even though I asked if it was.

Remember when Iced tea was made from Tea Bags and you sweetened it yourself? That is the tea I wanted. They advertised Peak Iced Tea but what I got was odd tasting seemingly carbonated something will dump out. We repeatedly said what we wanted and understood they got it. The sundae was good as was the Blizzard, but I am now thirsty on a 90 degree day!

this is the best place to eat in Onawa, been going here since I was a kid and the Chicken is very good and broasted potatoes are tasty also so I recommend the Chicken and Broasted tater meal, friendly owners and staff

I love their food here and the service is great. Meals are very filling and the price is just right. The servers check on you often and the wait time is fast from when you order to when you get your food. You won't be disappointed here.

I wasn't expecting Zagat type reviews...look it up if your not familiar. French fries fried so long there wasn't anything left inside the fry. Chicken strips fried to the point of little chicken left. No dip for the chicken, ketchup only...and who put ketchup on chicken anyway? A days left of grime covered the only salt shaker in the place that it made me wish I hadn't come in. How do they get past inspections? My MIL had broasted chicken and she said it had no flavor and tasted like it was fried in old oil. I really wanted to like the place as I have heard such good things about it...but after this experience...we won't be back. The only good thing I can say it was cheap...and the gal who brought us the food was very nice.

I was camping at Lewis&Clark SP and had breakfast here.
Good parking lot. Fast service. Food was hot and the order correct. Restaurant was clean and appeared to be a favorite local hangout for seniors enjoying morning coffee and breakfast.
Pleasant company and a nice area.

Fare was normal to any Subway. What we thought was interesting is how fast the staff worked. We had our subs in no time, and the place was packed!

It's a McDonald's. OK. It is clean. Bathrooms were clean. Nothing fancy. It's a McDonald's where every McDonald's has the same menu, same everything. But the people can make it different. But I don't see that here or any enthusiasm.

Holiday weekend in a very small town in Iowa. Pizza Hut in Onawa still delivered!!! Yes! Meat lover's pan pizza with extra cheese! Done to perfection! Nicely browned! Delivered fast! Delivered hot! Great crust! Many folk ignore Pizza Hut. Their loss!
