I went for dinner to Moravska last night
The best possible location in town.
I liked it. I struggle to understand how this is number 1 of 148 in Olomouc, but it wasn’t bad
Rustic decoration, interesting, I had thought of a more elegante setup as it shares building with the local Symphonic company. Rustic looks cute, folkloric, but sitting for more than 1 hour in a wooden bench makes you not to appreciate it so much.
No cocktails, only red wine. I was craving for a Manhattan, it will have to wait for next dinner somewhere else.
Great service, friendly server.
Food? Good, just good.
I liked my dinner, but certainly I would not go back.

Are dinner here twice during our stay in Olomouc. Food overall was good and the pulled beef starter was excellent. Good Radegast beer and a decent red wine. Service was good and quick (almost too quick). Sat outside on the square on lovely warm evenings. On the expensive side for Czech Republic but still great value for money

Stopped in for lunch and ate outside under umbrellas. Four lunch specials were offered. Food was good and portions were adequate. We were surprised that the price included a small beer or water. However, the price didn't include the soup (which was delicious and well worth the additional charge). Wait staff was personable and our server spoke English.

Dropped into this we'll know pivovar for dinner and a beer with my friends. Upon entry we sat down in the middle of the restaurant.
We then waited for about 20 minutes while staff did laps around the restaurant serving various tables however neglecting to even make eye contact with us.
Eventually we left without even being handed a menu or asked for our orders. Very unfortunate for such a well known pivovar in Olomouc.

i have not been here in two years? so i thot i would try a 'plan b', i saw one plate coming out of the kitchen, i just asked what was it, and got the same, some yummy thick pork chop grilled in nice way, with real mashed potatoes (hard to get real ones in usa), some sort of spinach...and home made lemonade? this restaurant has improved, and the food is very nice...make a reservation if you have a group or get there earlier...

After a two month trip through Eastern Europe, we were really happy to have the option of a pure vegetarian restaurant. This is a vegetarian and vegan self service buffet, where food is sold by weight.
However although the food was fine, it didn't live up to our expectations as it was a little on the bland side.

Must try local goulash. Very big portions, actually one dish is more than enough. Also try different methods of beer tapping. The taste of the same beer differs significantly in this case. Waitresses are not so good in English but they are so friendly that it makes no matter. Beautiful atmosphere of old-fashioned local restaurant.

Lobster is located in the Santovka mall (5 min walk from main square) on the top level across from the movie theater. It is combined with a bowling alley but don't let that deter you....the restaurant has a beautiful ambiance and excellent food.Thank you for your review and we hope to see you soon!

We visited the place once but not the last time as the evening was an experience! Not only you can taste food you can't taste anywhere else in Olomouc but the service is just exceptional! The staff actually know what they are selling and where...MoreThank you very much. Looking forward to see you soon.
