The good: amazing views, walking paths, available parking. The bad: Arriving on 27-Dec, we received our rooms which were dead cold. Heating was not working in any of the rooms, and in most of them there was no running water or working toilets. We sent to the owners a comprehensive list of issues to be fixed. 24 hours later, there was some heating in the rooms, but in most of them the temperature did not go above 17C, while in the larger ones the temperature dropped below 14C. Some of the families in our group had already begun preparations to return home. About half of the toilets remained broken for the first 2 days of our stay. Running water continued to be a problem throughout our stay, even though the outside temperature rose from -8C to +1C. We repeatedly asked the owners to fix the issues, and while they were helpful at start, in our last conversation they simply said that we need to live with it. Furthermore, electricity also went away for an entire night, causing then lack of any sort of water and heating in the whole facility. Another night spent in the cold! The owners claimed this is a general problem of the region. We know that not to be true. As a little side fact, some of the rooms still contained leftovers from the previous guests. But in the cold, waterless rooms this almost went unnoticed. The ugly: In the restaurant there was a single person waiting on the tables for the whole duration of our stay (7 days), for our group of 29 people plus another 6-12 people who ate there regularly. We did our best to avoid ordering any extras during dining hours, not to add extra strain on this lady. She remained polite and helpful, but she was clearly overwhelmed by the shear amount of people she had to serve. Beyond that, there was no one available on the premises for any sort of request. Alleys and stairs remained under snow, then under ice for the duration of our stay, until temperatures rose and those same alleys became covered in mud. Having constant problems with water, heating, and toilets, the icy stairs seemed insignificant, but fortunately no one got injured. The weird: There was no soap in the bathrooms, even though there were soap dispensers. We asked about this, we did not get an answer, ended up buying our own. Toilet paper was in short supply, so we again bought our own. There was no cleaning service for the duration of the stay. We managed to keep in fairly clean in the rooms. In this regard, the lack of water "helped" as we did not get to use the towels much. Overall, we survived the trip, however we will never return. Our calls for fixing at least the obvious problems were met with words, but not so much with actions. In the end, we asked for some sort of compensation at least for our first two nights which were spent in the cold with almost no running water and no toilet access, and we were offered 2% of the value of our stay, as a final slap in the face. At this time, since this was a company getaway, we're considering our options together with our lawyers. Verdict: Avoid at all costs!
