We were looking for good diner food on a Sunday. Bob's didn't disappoint. I got a really good onion burger on Texas toast. Portions were huge so I split an order of fries with my daughter. Two of my family members have large appetites, one ordered the special- meatloaf (looked to be about 3/4 lb) which came with 2 sides and a salad and a dessert, the other family member ordered a chicken fried steak which was the size of a dinner plate, It came with mashed potatoes, texas toast and a vegetable. Everyone really enjoyed their lunch. It was very affordable. Waitress was friendly and very attentive. The only criticism I would have is that it isn't a place where you can get a small meal (no kid's or senior menu) but you can always get a to go box. We will most likely return next time we are passing through McAlester.

Rain and fog forced us to stop driving. Across from our motel was Captain Johns. We were thinking we'd just get sandwiches, but the menu led us to believe this place had great potential. The locals had flocked in for dinner on a Thursday night. Our waitress was Danielle and she was welcoming, humorous and carefully guided our dinner choices. We will stop here on our next journey through Oklahoma.

Very disappointed with Jimmy's Egg. Service was terrible. Waitresses appear to always be doing something but nothing gets accomplished. Had to stop another waitress twice in order to get a coffee re-fill. My waitress ignored us. I asked for something when the food came but never got it. The next time she spoke to me was when she brought the check and I wasn't even finished eating. Grits were ice cold. With a change in staff this could be an excellent restaurant.

An overnight stay at the new HI Express was relaxing and great value. Chili's was across the car park and so we opted for the chain restaurant, where we have invariably been satisfied in the pastThere is an extensive menu which has something for every taste. The food here was very good and the service attentive without being pushy and unctious.Blake was our table server who did everything professionally and courteously and Angie was an impressive and personable manager.Highly recommended

The food was excellent. We ordered breakfast. Good variety of breakfast items (but out of biscuits...sigh). We waited 10 minutes to be seated and almost an hour for food. That was a drawback. It's a small place and very popular. It was almost closing time (9 pm) when we left. Will try it again on a future pass thru but maybe at a different time of day.

This is a cute diner with a 50s and Happy Days theme to it. They also run a motel out back. The diner was excellent. The service top notch, and my wife really enjoyed the omelet. I wasnât as crazy about my meatloaf but it wasnât bad. It was just thin. Usually meatloaf is thick and juicy. Anyway, I would still recommend this place if stopping in this town.

We ate salads for lunch and stayed on the "weightwatchers" freestyle plan easily. The restaurant was clean, great service, and had a real hometown feel. It is locally owned and operated and we talked with one of the owners. It is worth getting off the highway to have a meal at Lucy's Two! Also, we would stop there again and try other items on the menu. Top rating for this restaurant.

Quaint, quirky, quiet little soup, salad & sandwich shop in the heart of old town. We offer a variety of items with a healthy twist. We are one of few restaurants with a Heart Healthy rating. Venture off the beaten path for a meal you wonât soon forget. D
We stopped here on a road trip from Dallas area. Great food was had by all in our party. My husband had a prime rib sandwich and salad, I had the tuna salad croissant with salad, my young adult sons enjoyed turkey panini sandwiches and grilled cheese.Thank you for the review and for taking time out of your trip to dine with us. We appreciate the kind words and are glad to hear you enjoyed your meal. Safe travels and we hope to see you again soon!
