Medium steak was well done and tasted burnt in some of the bites. Our server forgot the onions and mushrooms I ordered with it two times. He was nice so we overlooked that. My husband was still hungry after eating a 12 oz ribeye and this has never happened in any other restaurant. It was so flabby too! Green beans had no flavor. The rolls, dinner salad and baked potato were good. Not worth the money paid and will not go back!
At Swadley's, every meat we serve is fresh, never frozen and smoked to absolute perfection. You'll love our chopped or sliced brisket, hand-rubbed pork spare ribs or juicy smoked turkey. And we're not blowin' smoke here - our family's been perfecting our
Wow, driving through Ardmore OK and 'starving', saw a sign for this BBQ place so stopped in. What can I say? The choices were almost overwhelming, but we chose a two meat plate with chopped brisket and sausage. Delicious! The sides we chose were green beans (good) and corn with jalapeños - amazing!! I skipped the rolls but my friend ate his AND mine - he said they were great. I got the spicy BBQ sauce and it was spicy for sure, friend got one spicy and one sweet - liked them both. For dessert we did the blackberry and the peach cobblers with ice cream. Great ending to a wonderful meal!

If you enjoy fried catfish, the way fried catfish is supposed to be prepared (cornmeal batter), then you will love Casey's Catfish Coral. While traveling to Oklahoma City, I did a quick search of Catfish places near I35. While not directly on the interstate, Casey's is only a couple of miles from the interstate and definitely worth the little extra time to visit a locally owned establishment and get delicious fried catfish. I had the four catfish filet basket which came with 4 hushpuppies amid a huge pile of delicious fries. The basket also comes with pinto beans and coleslaw. It was a lot of food, and I left very full. But I also had to order the "relish side", which includes onions, lemons and pickles, but I really ordered it for the green tomato relish which was perfect. The fish was fresh, farm raised catfish, perfectly fried with a cornmeal batter. So if you happen to be in or near Ardmore, and you love traditional fried catfish, Casey's is a must stop.

Great steaks and the salad is the best! The place could use some updating. It looks like you stepped back in time to the 1970's. But the food and service is awesome.

This is a comfortable breakfast spot. Great menu, good food. There was an I-hop right across the street but decided to try something new and different. Glad I did. Service was prompt. Ordered a basic breakfast. Ham, eggs over easy, hash browns, and homemade raisin toast. I drink a lot of coffee. And really appreciate it when the server keeps it full. Nice! The serving size is...huge! Maybe it's just me but, I always ask for the eggs to be cooked whites and runny yolk. I specify that. Without fail, eggs come out with yolks cooked. Argh! When I showed server, she went and got another cooked to perfection!!!

The interior is a visual experience, and time advertisements, antiques hanging from the ceiling and around every corner. It was a bit crowded and the floorspace was cramped. As far as food it was so so. I had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and beer batter roll. The steak looked good but the taste was a little sour. The potatoes were the consistency of fine grits. I don't believe they were fresh but from a box and the flavor was bland. The green beans were tasty and the roll was as well. Or family meal was a "just food and we need to eat" experience.

From the moment we entered this quaint and busy restaurant we knew we found a local fav! (One counter seating about 12, a booth and 2, 2 top tables). Seating is very limited but turnover is quick. (Mostly locals) You can see the cook preparing your food, people checking out and wait staff fixing drinks and pie, all within your view. Mary took care of us and gave recommendations. The food was great! Fries made fresh, meat fresh and prepared to our liking. We did share a piece of the chocolate pie (Mary said there was only pieces left, so we should grab one)...it was good, but I would have preferred it cooler in temperature. Service was friendly, quick and food is worth going back for!

Two Frogs is the place for parties, quiet evenings, occasional live music, and some of the best all around food in Ardmore! Right off I-35, exit 31A, Two Frogs Grill has some of the best food you can find in Oklahoma. Sauces and seasonings are inhouse sec
Food was ok. Not good or bad. We had teriyaki chicken with rice and voodoo shrimp with French fries. The side salads were not fresh and we picked out the older brown pieces. The croutons were very good. Sat in the back and heard servers shouting âcornerâ every 2 minutes. Waitress was friendly but slow. Not somewhere weâd return to for a $40 dinner.

Everything was very fresh and good. My husband got the smaller portion of blueberry pancakes with bacon and I got a 2 egg combo with bacon, fruit, and hashbrowns. I was very impressed with the fruit-very fresh and delicious. Quick and pleasant service. Will likely stop again on our way to/from DFW area or Austin.

Downtown restaurant located near the train depot, plenty of parking. There was a wait but the hostess took our number so when our table was ready we were notified. The food is worth the wait, waitstaff was prompt and welcoming; our server Angela was outstanding. Wife had the blackened tilapia with sauté green beans and house salad. I had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and sauté green beans. Salad was crisp and delicious. The tilapia was good, but a little dry, sauté green beans - outstanding. My chicken fried was delicious not overcooked, mashed potatoes was our favorite; homemade and creamy and the jalapeño gravy was delicious with kick of spice. The menu is a little pricy but we didnât mind, we will be back to try something new.
