I found this restaurant disappointing but it may be due to my American tastes. The atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful and unique as the front part was set up like a seafood market. You choose what you want and they prepare it for you. We actually went for dessert. I ordered the coconut ice cream but did not like the flavor. However, the cane sugar ice cream was very good. Friends ordered some kind of shell fish which they found delicious (they are use to Asian cuisine.). I found it tough to eat.

Restaurant is opposite Nakama Steak house, a short taxi ride 550 yen, from Okinawa Marriott Resort & Spa. Set meals of only pork, pork & beef, only beef. Ala carte of other Japanese n okinawan dishes. Pork & beef well-marbled. Meat & raw local vegetables in miso dip very tasty. Set meal is for 2-3 persons who are small-eaters. Cant read Japanese ask for menu in English. Overall reasonable price for meal abt 30% price of similar meal in Okinawa Marriott Resort. This was one of the reasons for not eating again in the hotel restaurants. Local Orion beer also refreshing & inexpensive. Your reservation is also shown on board outside the restaurant. We know you have a large choice of restaurants to choose from, and with that in mind would like to thank you very much for coming to Ryukyu Yakiniku NAKAMA. The driving concept behind our store is local consumption of local produce; representing Okinawa. Ishigaki beef, southern pork, as well as Okinawan cuisine made with local ingredients. Because we have a diverse array of customers from many different backgrounds, we also have Chinese and Korean language menus in addition to our English edition so anyone can enjoy our hospitality without worry.We also offer a drop-off service to neighbouring hotels such as the Marriott, Ritz-Carlton, Busena Terrace etc so if you ever find yourself back in Okinawa, so by all means make use of it if you would like to eat some Ryukyu Yakiniku without leaving the comfort of your hotel on your next visit here.For customers who make reservations, we always state the names on the store board at the front in an effort to make the experience as welcoming as possible. 名護市内国道58号線沿いにある名護市漁港内にある直売所兼食堂ですここは新鮮な魚を手頃な値段で食べられる穴場です目の前の海で上がった沖縄の魚を直売所の価格で食べられます写真はマグロ漬け丼（本日のオススメでこれでたったの750円でした）新鮮なマグロがたっぷり乗ってこの値段は嬉しいです^ ^他にもメニュー色々なのでお魚好きにはたまらないと思います直売所なので、サービスは期待しないでください。不愉快な気持ちになることはありませんが、レストランの対応を求めないように海鮮丼でワサビが欲しい人は申し出ないとつけてくれないようです（無料でつけてくれます）隣には一個80円から沖縄天ぷらを売るお店もあるのでおやつも楽しめますなので美ら海水族館の帰りにちょっと寄ってもいいと思います（沖縄では天ぷらは「おやつ」なのです）アクセスは自家用しかありません。わかりやすいところにありますが、入り口を見落としやすいので近づいたら速度を緩めて走ってください安全運転で美味しいお魚さんを！A self service restaurant and fishermen's shop in Nago fish harbor. Wasabi is on request.By the shop, Okinawan Tempura store there. price is quite reasonablestart from JPY 80.If you are full. try Okinawan Tempura as "snack" Honestly Tempura is "snack" in Okinawa. The access to the harbor is only by car. Place can find easily but be careful. Entrance of the harbor is small and easy to miss.

The sushi restaurant is family run (father makes sushi, mother the side dishes and the daughters run the service). The restaurant is a wooden house, lovely decorated and very clean. The sushi was delicious, fresh and for a really good price. We paid around 4500Yen for 3 tuna and 3 salmon rolls, fish soup and rice with sashimi, 3 Cassis&Orange Cocktails. They offer a wide variety of sushi plates and also seperate rolls. The waitress spoke English and was very very friendly! We got fried tuna for free since we were their first guests from Switzerland. We totally recommend to go there!

The food and service here was exceptional. The options for the meals were diverse, a great selection of wines and beers, but to have the food cooked infront of you at your table was a brilliant experience. Would recommend anyone who is in the area, or staying at the hotel to dine here.
