We visited this restaurant outside of the high season and the place seemed to be very much liked by locals. At the time of our dinner, we were the only (foreign) tourists in the place. We spent four days in the area and this was our favorite place to eat. Service was very good, like most of the time in Japan. Very friendly people too.On a global standard we would rate this with four stars but to local standard certainly deserves all five. Very nice fresh seafood provided; we had local seaweed (a bit like fish egg texture and taste), deep fried calamari, bbq fish, boiled lobster with cheese and local very nice bitter melon. Seafood is fresh and overall very good. Fish was bbqed just with salt and was very nice. Half lobster came with cheese topping and maybe some mayo or so inside, which I would have left away had I known it. The calamari was battered which took a bit the taste away and maybe it was also a little bit overcooked. Still all very good. The restaurant is located on the second floor (or first depending on the culture) in a white two or three story building. Interior is modest but very cozy and the view to the East-China sea is beautiful. In order to enjoy that, please go early before the sunset.Restaurant is located on the beach road somewhere between the Renessance Hotel and the Hotel Moon Beach. Maybe one to two kilometers from both of the places. Walking distance if you like. With a couple of beers we paid USD 70 or so. Without the lobster would have been USD 45. Very nice experience and good value for money. Domo arigato.

The pork cutlet from AGU I fry with homemade bread crumb and lard from AGU of natural leaven and a beef and vegetables cooked in broth speciality store! There is only for 1 parking lot in front of the store. Please use whether they're a sister store and p
I saw this restaurant on Google Map as I was looking for Shabu Shabu restaurant for lunch. But,I found out later it was not available for lunch, so disappointed. No parking on site you need to park somewhere else then walk to the restaurant. It's set menu includes "all you can eat "pickles and tofu soup. This restaurant serve deep fried food ; that was disappointing to me ; I was looking for Shabu Shabu, none available , I was hoping for noodles of some kind , none, just deep fried pork in a sandwich or serve with rice . The staff speaks no English but no worries it's menu is in English as well as Japanese and it is a pictorial menu. Pictures are not clear on its menu but you could show them what you want from pictures on TripAdvisor or Google Map. If you really need to communicate use Google Translate ;-)I had 3 kinds of pork set, I would not recommend that if you are one who enjoy something meaty. 3 kinds of pork basically are thin layers of pork rolled up then deep fried. I suggest you have a fillet or lion Cutlet set overall food quality is good though .Enjoy !

We came for a shabu shabu but the owner recommended the local version: Tajine Mushi Dinner. Absolutely sublime, finishing with a risotto made from the left-over juice. Best food by far we had in Okinawa. The owners treat you as family and their daughter Sakura is the sweetest 3 yr old you can imagine. She managed to communicate in Japanese with my wife and I when both of us can only just articulate a couple of words in Japanese... A great culinary experience in a lovely Okinawa family environment. You just need to go with the suggestions and finish with the ice cream!

Salad bar all-you-can-eat of vegetables made in the prefecture where our appetizer is sommelier supervision of vegetables! Unusual vegetables of a prefecture, olive oil, sesame oil and a homemade island, please eat dressing of vegetables. YAN BARU island
This was a surprise find because we went past this restaurant on our way to the aquarium. On the way back, we were thinking if we would like to try it. We saw the number of cars outside and it seems rather popular so we just parked and headed in. Thank god for the wife for spotting this! The steam pork was so good! Ordered the set and that pork sushi in the pic. We also ordered their fried noodles and this was good enough for 2. Oh boy, this place is surely one great place for dinner! Price is reasonable and service was fast. They have table and counter seats. English menu available too. I would highly recommend you to come!

We had a fantastic shabushabu experience here last night. The food was fresh, delicious and came out in a reasonable amount of time for two very hungry customers! The staff made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed the conversations we had with our waitress who spoke very good English. I recommend one of the meal sets and some other dishes to accompany. We got the purple yam balls which were delicious! I believe this vegetable is unique to Okinawa so do give them a try. We would definitely go back. We weren't big shabushabu fans before, but we certainly are now!

So glad that Sakae Ryoriten is here! We live in Uruma city which we often here people complaining about the lack of good restaurants around this area. Sakae has the right atmosphere with very attentive staff and they present Okinawa food to a more refine standard. Our guests were all very impressed and happy.

Must try of Okinawa soba especially the one with seaweed. Add a dash of the local pepper sauce , be careful with pouring itâs a big hole opening ! Went there after peak hours, plenty of space to choose. Try the tatami facing the ocean. The original flavour soba was tasty especially the meat and soup. But my best was the one with seaweed. Yum meh! Comes with a seaweed fried rice when ordered in a set. Purchase at the machine on entrance and hand in the tickets to the lady for preparation. If u like it much they sell ready made take away packs/boxes :)

Yakiniku Ryukyu no Ushi is the place in Okinawa for Yakiniku, or grilled meat! The secret to its popularity is of course the tasty meat. Locally-produced wagyu beef has the perfect flavor, and we also serve non-brand beef selected simply for its high quali
Easily the best beef I have ever had. We tried the top quality 100g for 6k yen and a set from 5k. Everything was amazing. I would suggest as other did before me buy 1 set and meat. Don't buy the cheapest and probably don't buy the top. It was just as good the assorted version of it. Yes the top one is melting in your mouth but they were all delicious.

The Wagyu beef from the Yanbaru region is excellent and they prepare it well in this restaurant. Of course it is somewhat expensive, on average 2800 yen for 150 gram, but certainly worth it. The Agu pork T-bone was also good and a bit less pricy. We also had the Wagyu beef, chicken and Agu pork sushi that was very good. It is recommended to take some side dishes. We had the garlic rice and grilled Cesar salad that goes well with the beef dishes. A plus points are the good service and a large drink menu, including various mixtures of plum wine ( daringly we took as dessert the Habu snake liquor, and we were surprised it tasted very good).
