We went to this restaurant during lunch time. This is our first tried. We waited 30 min for available seats. Very delicious Okinawa wagyu beef, super yummy !!!The price is compatible for its portion and quality. Sure recommend to every traveller visit to Okinawa. Visited on June 2019.

We tried to visit this restaurant for a meal after knowing that itâs located very close to our hotel. After some searching, we still could not locate the restaurant. We checked with our hotel staff and was told that itâs closed âtemporaryâ. But the last review was done in year 2017! Do take note to avoid disappointment.

Ascending twisty driveway awkwardly, you'll be delighted by antique Okinawan house standing breezy hill top. Once inside, the house is renovated in modern style. Dishes are healthy and delicious traditional local foods. But do not forget to ask todays catch and special. Good to visit Sunset to night.

While driving from Hotel Mahaina at night, my family and I found this 2-storey restaurant in a separate building with a few parking lots for our dinner. We were glad that we did.We liked the warm and cosy setting on the ground floor, which was a pleasant escape from the coldness of the windy night. There are not many tables and the restaurant was almost full of patrons at 7:30pm. The friendly restaurant staff provided us menus in Japanese, English and Chinese (Mandarin). Amongst other cuisine dishes, this restaurant serves excellent Okinawa cuisine (three meat soba, pork rib soba, beef tendon soba and of course the hot or cold Okinawa soba), Okinawa pork sirloin steak, taco rice, Japanese curries (which you could add cheese or salad or half-boiled egg (onsen tamago)), omelettes, fried rice, risotto and cheese gratin. Interestingly, the menu has a few dishes that incorporate papaya (hence the restaurant name âpapiyaâ?) We wished we could try all the cuisine. In the end we ate the Okinawa pork sirloin steak set (Â¥2700, includes salad, Mozuku seaweed and dessert), chicken and rice omelette, and pork and beef curry with rice and salad. We really enjoyed the food and the dining experience. I recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner.

We wandered into this place by accident and loved it. It is just north of the Emerald Beach, about 10 minutes walk. Visitors can walk there along the coast or walk one block inland, in the tree shaded road. The neighborhood is very relaxing to stroll and then there is this nice little cafe. The cafe is air conditioned or visitors can sit on the outdoor terrace. The front of the cafe is large window panes to provide view of the ocean. The food and drink is very nice and the service is superb. We had a great afternoon tea chilling in the air con (after a bit of walk in the Okinawan summer heat), eating/drinking and watching the blue and emerald sea.

Difficult to find the shop but close to Motobu town market. The taste of Okinawa soba is really good. This is old Okinawan style, which is difficult to find in south now.Soup taste is thick, from kelp and dried bonito stock and soy source.Stewed pork and fish cake is on the soba. Recommend to take Juusii(A cooked rice with dried mushroom, kelp and pork) is really full of umami taste.Menu is only three choiceSoba (small size 500 yen or medium size 650yen ) and Juusii 250 yen.

Today, I had a lunch in this noodle restaurant with my family. First of all, my GPS didn't work well, so I had a difficulty to find this place. Anyway, I arrived here and all the tables were occupired. About 10 minutes later we got a table and order five noodles. They have two kinds of menu, noodle with pork rib and other one with pork belly. The texture of meat was so fresh. All of my family agreed that foods were amazing. I love to visit here again.

Our group picked this soba place when we were en route to the Aquarium. It's a traditional Okinawa style soba place with history. You have to purchase ticket for food at the vending machine and there's not much variation on the menu. Soba with pork of small to large portion options or the rice. I tried both and the pork was particularly flavorful and the soba noodles was very nice. My travel companions did not enjoy this style of noodle though.
