Do not understand how this place is so highly rated. Food is mediocre at best. Had the 2500Â¥ tasting menu. The appetizers were anonymous and the salad was embarassing. The seafood was ok but then again nothing to write home about. The pork was overcooked.Takoyaki was good but not really any better than what you can get off the street in Osaka. Cheesecake portion is miniscule. My girlfriend had the A5 wagyu, good but not the best I've had.Overall not a memorable experience. I suggest to try other restaurants/izakaya in the area which look far more interesting.Trusted trip advisor too much this time and have very much regretted it.
ãBusiness hoursãâLunch is just a holiday: 11:30 to 14:00 Dinner: 16:00 to 24:00â Good location 7 minutes on foot from Okayama station west entrance. You can eat Okayama's brand beef chiya beef and Kiyomaro and Nagi beef. Chiya beef is extremely tasty beca
I have been in japan travelling for over a week now and just had the best beef I have ever tasted in my life. Please do yourself a favour if you are in Okayama please visit this restaurant. Lovely attentive staff and the chief plays the harmonica really well. Highly recommend the premium beef short rib. Thank you for coming to the store.I'm glad you enjoyed the meat taste and my performance in harmonica. Please come back to the store when you visit Okayama again.

We loved the food and atmosphere of this small place that we went back two nights in a row. The owner is just a delight, so welcoming and friendly, and she's a terrific cook, as are her assistants. She definitely serves the most delicious okonomiyaki that we have had in our travels through Japan. Highly recommended!

Wanting to taste the famous wagyu beef, we decided to try this restaurant in the penthouse of the Hotel Granvia. We went for lunch as we were advised it is more reasonably priced than dinner. The view is okay, but the real thing to watch is the chef as he prepares everything in front of you. At about $70 for the beef meal, we decided to get one and a more reasonably priced grilled fish entree and share both. The wine is very good but expensive by the glass so be sure to consider getting a bottle. The service is very attentive
Locally produced "Chiya beef", Kumamoto "Waoh" etc ... The heart-care baked beef that we burn with my heart is outstanding. From the thought that we want to deliver good quality ingredients at the optimum timing near our customers. I made it to a shop wit
This little restaurant offers excellent Japanese meat, cooked by the owner chef of the house and his lovely wife and dedicated crew...I have been around the world but did not have the chance to be so delighted about food and restaurant staff as at Steak Nishioka. Thank you so much Hiroshi Nishioka!
