I see I am not the only one who was disappointed after their stay in this hotel. I can't really say that the rooms were clean: cobwebs in every corner of the room accompanied by their inhabitants, mould in the bathroom, some members of the staff weren't all that friendly. Also a huge pity that little children (aged till 12) were allowed in the sauna and pool area without anyone watching them. Hence: screaming and for us no relaxing and that's was the reason why we booked this weekend in the first place: a wellness weekend. Good things: the lady in the bar was very nice and interested, her male companion who was attending the bar the next evening should follow her example. A luxurious breakfast with a wide choice of products. Beware of the coffee; better order a capuccino or have tea. We had a massage and that lady had magic hands. I wish she lived in my neighbourhood.

Just outside Oisterwijk, in the midst of forests and in close to unique heaths and woodland, one finds the welcoming 3-star Hotel-Restaurant Boschoord. The impressive surroundings offer a variety of opportunities, and the hotel possesses ample facilities for a carefree and relaxed stay. In Hotel-Restaurant Boschoord's kitchen, very enthusiastic personnel prepare delicious meals every day. Further, the hotel allows you to relax in a delightful sauna, which is a must after walking or cycling through the woody surroundings. And it would not be a Brabant hotel if you could not enjoy a cosy drink at the bar in the evening.
My family and I stayed in this hotel over the weekend in November. You will read many reviews highlighting the disgusting conditions of the hotel and the poor service and they are all very accurate. What really shocked me with this hotel was the complete lack of interest in resolving an issue but more also their relaxed attitude to hygiene including the bed where a child would sleep. The "manager" seems to never work - apparently he doesn't work weekends and "sometimes" comes in during the week. He also doesn't want to speak on the phone nor has the desire to refund people despite his staff openly admitting the hotel is problematic and in an extremely poor state. I firmly believe in Karma and I take peace that knowing one day, when the manager of this hotel and his family (assuming he has one one day) may be in this same position and hope the hotel takes his money, refuses to give it back and treats him the same way. In this day and age, organizations like this really do concern me as the effort it takes to treat a customer fairly is actually less difficult than treating them badly. I will claim the money back from my credit card provider but, Fletcher have lost a hotel for life and, this manager will one day will be given the same treatment.

Our restaurant, grand cafe and hotel is located in the woods of Oisterwijk. Meneer van Eijck offers all facets; breakfast, lunch, dinner, receptions, overnights, you name it. Business meetings are possible and of course we are one of Brabants most popular wedding locations! Our place typifies itself by it’s cozy atmosphere, outstanding menu and our hospital staff. Our goal is at all times; ‘To exceed your expectations.’ In the nearby surroundings there are a lot of activities; you can cycle and walk in the beautiful woods and at walking distance there is Hollands biggest outdoor pool ‘Staalbergven.’ Naturally you may not miss out on nature reserve De Campina, brewery La Trappe or picturesque Oisterwijk with it’s lovely terraces. We look forward on having and pleasing you. Yours sincerely, Meneer van Eijck
Had a wonderful stay. Great food for dinner and well presented. Definitely have the salmon salad. Breakfast was a delicious nugget of fresh goodies. A must stay when in the area. Also. The comfiest bed and the NICEST staff

Vakantiepark (Holidaypark) De Reebok is at a top location in an oasis of woods, lakes and moorland. A family park for quiet, companionable guests. Your holiday base of operations within the city triangle of ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Tilburg and Eindhoven “Het Groenewoud” (“The Green Wood”).
We stayed in the "outdoor chalet" (Buitenchalet) for 16 days in December 2020. It was comfortable, warm, and fairly well equipped, including fridge and freezer, cooking hob and microwave (but note that some chalets do not have a freezer), little TV with a range of channels including BBC 1 & 2. It reminded me of a large static caravan, though it's a touch larger than that. There were three of us staying, which meant that we could use one of three bedrooms for storage of our cases. For more people, I think we would have found it too poky. There are lots of nice walks in the area, and my guess is that it would be very beautiful in the summer. The nearest town, Oisterwijk, is two miles away, so buying groceries, especially if you don't have a car, is a chore. The staff on reception are fairly friendly, with very good English (for ignoramuses like us with no Dutch), and there are a handful of grocery items for sale in there. (Apparently more is available in season). The value is pretty good but not outstanding. We paid 1,436 Euros all in (including the extra for linen and towels) for 16 nights. Our only major complaint was that the wifi was really terrible. Three of us were working all day every day, and needed good wifi, but it constantly dropped, and was nowhere near good enough for holding meetings etc. We had to spend a lot of money to use our phones as hotspots. So my one major piece of advice would be not to rely on this place for wifi if you are using it for work, as we were.

We stayed in a lodge (with airco!) with our 2 kids. It was perfect! They were able to play outside, look for squirrels and feed the chickens. It's very quiet and relaxing, waking up in the middle of the woods. There is a very cute restaurant next door that has a big playground and good food so we ate there a couple of times. I'd recommend ordering breakfast too! It's lovely!

I stayed here because my friends have booked to stay here. Since they are husband and wife, I chose to have my own room My friends did try to save as much money as possible, so many hotels they chose in our two weeks' road trip in Germany and Holland are really not up to my standard and inconveniently located (they did rent a car). This is one of the hotels that is not very conveniently located. It is a few kilometers away from the town center of Oisterwijk. There is a shuttle bus to go to the center of Oisterwijk, but it seems to run only once or twice per day. They are behind a restaurant/bar. However, that restaurant closes at, like 7 pm. Thus, if you eat dinner late, you may have to drive elsewhere (I did find an Indonesian restaurant not far from this hotel, and it is even walkable from here). Location aside, the room itself is nice and clean. Since it is in the middle of countryside, it is generally quiet. The Wi Fi is not working very well. You may need to go to the patio of the restaurant (which closes around 7 pm) in front of the guest room area to get a better signal. There are also mosquitoes around. Considering that there are many canals around and July is the warmest time of the year, it is not a surprise that there are mosquitoes. Some mosquitoes did enter the room and influenced my sleep quality. So, remember to close your window before sunset! They do not accept credit card, so bring enough cash. The staff are very friendly and even constantly apologize for their bad internet connection. Though I think the location is not very ideal for us and there are few things to see around Oisterwijk, I did enjoy my stay at De Waterput.
