The Tavern Company on Lee Road in Cleveland Height, OH is everyone one would want in a local restaurant. The menu is both diverse and excellent. From Buffalo wings fried to crispy perfection to fresh green salad to some of the best burgers in Cleveland, TavCo has it all.The staff is consistently great. The owner is frequently on site and his staff is loyal and well trained. They are comfortable people - neither overly saccharine nor too passive. Each server is interesting, smart, and helpful. The beer menu is blessed with excellent local offerings, as well as some of the best national craft beers. With that said, one need not have a waxed mustache to enjoy the bar. They serve Bud, Miller, etc. if that works better.Bottom line, The Tavern Company is a great choice for nearly any occasion. The menu has something for everyone - without being bad at anything. The setting is classic Cleveland - with TV's high in the corners and antlers above the bar. Give it a shot.

Stopped in before movie at Cedar Lee. Reasonable drink prices comfortable atmosphere. Friendly helpful service. Had fried Rueben balls as an appetizer. 3 large balls full of corned beef, Swiss cheese with thousand island dressing on the side. Also had buffalo chicken with blue cheese salad, and a Caesar salad. Check it out varied menu with good quality food. Free dessert Halloween candy.

I am a repeat patron. Easy access and plenty of parking. The new theater and dining complex across the street creates some competition.Easy going restaurant with attentive and knowledgeable staff. The layout is fun, the action not as much.Limited choice in craft brews, varied menu, with something for everyone. The entrees were sizable and we skipped desert.

The margaritas are mediocre, small and served in jars, although they're only five bucks, which appeals to their young audience. The food isn't near as good as the Mexican place around the corner. But as a hangout, it's a good choice for the college crowd.

Went on a Thursday early evening. Not crowded but a number of groups. Service was attentive and quick. A little disappointed that the beer selection was not particularly diverse (e.g., we like the darker beers and those were quite limited). However, the Dog Pound brown ale was quite good. However, the BBQ pork sandwich was dry and seemed thrown together (fries were good), and the chicken pesto pizza was below average, and not worth bringing the extra home. Next time, we'll probably stick to the beer.

The six of us shared a pizza appetizer, the brussell sprout app and the fries with truffles...all were superbly done. Most of us had some sort of fish taco wrapped in lettuce leaves. There was plenty for each serving and quite delicious. One of our friends had a vegan Japanese dish with tofu and the flavors were phenomenal. I will return, only this time I hope to sit outside. The only down side were the acoustics which made it difficult to carry on conversations.

We patronize Nighttown fairly frequently, largely for dinner before an event and also at times for lunch. This is a long time great favorite. Food and service are always consistent and dependable and excellent value. They also have frequent music offerings, which we don't take advantage of as much as we'd like. they also have heated patio. can't miss for easy, decent meal for lunch or dinner.

Melt opened in September 2006 with one goal: To provide gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches and as many beers as possible in a cool and comfortable environment. No bar food. No boring choices on tap. And something for everyone: it's Cleveland-friendly, slig
First time Iâve ever been to Melt after hearing about it so many times. The atmosphere is fun. The menu has LOTS of choicesâespecially for us vegetarians. Huge beer and cocktail list. Only problem was the service was slow. Understaffed for sure. I understand this is a long-standing issue.Still a great sandwich and good soup.
