My dad and I went to dinner here and went with the hibachi grill. It was really good and the portions are huge. The restaurant was super clean and the service was pretty good. We didnât try their sushi but the sushi menu was pretty solid.

I am so glad we stopped into Sushi Monk! We were looking for a "hidden gem" in the area and decided to try this based on other Yelp reviews. My husband and I are slight sushi/Japanese food snobs, but Sushi Monk did not disappoint. The ambiance of the restaurant is wonderful. It's small and intimate, decor is classy but not over the top. I always love being able to see the sushi chef from anywhere in the restaurant. They also had a well stocked, nice-looking bar.Their Tonkatsu ramen broth was EXCELLENT. Many broths in the area are far too salty; their broth was creamy and delicious. We also had several sushi rolls. All were amazing, but the favorite was the Melting Roll. It really did melt in your mouth. We will definitely be back!

My granddaughter and I visited for lipunch and enjoyed the ambiance and the food. We were greeted and seated immediately. The interior is very Asian with bamboo and Japanese carvings, very pretty. Our waiter was helpful, friendly and attentive. We chose to sit at a table and order from the menu. They offer a Sushi bar and a grill to sit around. There are a lot of choices that come with salad, soup and rice. I look forward to visiting again.

This was my first visit and for lunch I ordered a favorite: Singapore noodles (Mei Fun). I've tried this dish in several Asian restaurants and the one that stands out as a winner is Johnny Chan on Fields-Ertel road. Thai Taste uses very fine noodles and it has a sweet flavor like they added sugar which it totally inappropriate for this dish. The heat level was as ordered (9) but the sweetness threw the flavor balance off. Also for any meat, they charge extra. Chan throws in pork and shrimp as part of the dish which is the traditional recipe. My lunch portion @ 7.95 was more than I could eat. I may go back to try some of their other dishes in the future but the Singapore noodles were NOT to my liking at all!. I did a takeout order but the service for the few people there (it's a very tiny place) seemed OK.

We drove ten miles on a tip that Korealistic would have good bugogi and other good menu options. Our prior Korean restaurant closed when the owners retired. This locations advertises their specialty as Korean, Japanese & Sushi. We are a party of four retired people that like to try different places. The bugogi was good but probably not a do over. My sister tried a bowl of Dolsot Bibimbap. It had eggs and veggies, could add meat options, she had tofu for her diet. That was the dish that smelled so good and we will try that next time. They have a buffet but it wasn't running that day for lunch. Overall this was a nice family run business. We like to support a local family business when we can, especially when its good food and good service. Service was nice and very helpful with our repeated menu questions. Our servers name was MC. I tried the fried ice-cream. Vanilla ice cream is always good but the Graeter's competition just up the road wins the desert prize if you have time for a short stroll. We will be back to Korealistic.

Dancing Roll, with locations in West Chester and Hyde Park has become our top restaurant for sushi in Cincinnati. We have tried over a dozen other spots and consider the Dancing Roll our home away from home for awesome food. Our son is obsessed with their Sunday Morning Roll, and for those who love Maki sushi. All rolls are half priced all the time--I know that means the half price is their regular price, but hey it's marketing. If you want to try something a little different go for the Kimchee hand roll which is a special with a nod to the Korean food served on their non-sushi menu.If Nigiri Sushi or sashimi is more your style you will not be disappointed. I will say that the fish serving sizes for both these types are large. You can decide if that is a good or bad thing. For those not sushi lover accompanying your mate you needs a fix, I would suggest the Dolsott Bibimbap. It is a crispy rice dish with egg & assorted vegetables, in the sizzling stone bowl. It is served with a Korean spicy sauce (Gochujang) on the side. You can choose chicken or beef. The location is in a strip mall. The restaurant decor is not anything special to look at, but it is clean and has television, really large ones, in the dining room. It is busy both at lunch and dinner. Expect a wait on the weekends and some weekdays.

I only tried a portion of the food on the buffet but was very impressed with the choices. Large place and they had a big crowd when I was there. I mainly had the chinese chicken dishes over fried rice and some soup and an egg roll and i was satisfied, but they had many non-chinese items to choose from- sliced beef, fried chicken, etc. They also had salads and fruit options. They also had many ice cream and other dessert options. While not gourmet food, what I had was very good and the price was very reasonable- $15 plus drink cost. I had hot tea. The staff was nice but very busy due to the crowds.
