We visited Mona Pizza Gourmet during a dance competition, which was a short walk from the restaurant. The establishment provides a New York style pizza which can be purchased by the slice or whole pies. The crust and sauce reminded me of typical make at home pizzas. The staff however, was very friendly. I found this pizza to be overpriced, and the toppings were good, but minimal.

There were eight of us at Mother's Day dinner tonight. The staff were polite and great to be around. Waiter Mikhail was absolutely fantastic. We had such a great time and hope to be back to visit again from Ontario, Canada. Thanks Mikhail for making our visit memorable with your friendly personality and excellent service.

Stopped to support local business. Nice stop for lunch. Pizza buffet was ok. Not too busy but pizzas came out a bit slow. They did send out a white pizza at our request which was a bonus.

Love this place and have been there multiple times. The food is superb and can be customized to anyone's palate. The chefs are all very knowledgeable and put a lot of passion into their creations. The atmosphere is super cozy and inviting. The service is better than most places I've been! Especially the bartenders. They really add to an already great experience! I will definitely return.

We were staying at a nearby resort and we used the tripadvisor app to locate the closest high ranking restaurant. Danny Boys was ten minutes away. The restaurant was initially quiet as it was late evening. We were greeted with friendly smiles as we walked in the door, which is always nice. Our waitress was very very friendly and we enjoyed visiting with her, since the restaurant wasn't busy. We ordered an appetizer as we'd never had a Pierogi before. It was brought to our table within ten minutes. The potato and cheese pierogi was deep fried. It is served with a sauce. The pierogi was plain and it didn't mesh with the barbeque sauce we ordered. But, since we have never had pierogi's before we have no clue if they are typically tasteless, except for the sauce. We ordered the Clevelander pizza and the Silvios Creamy Chicken Pasta. We had more than enough food for 3 people. The pizza was good, not great, and the pasta was average. The sauce needed more zing.A very large noisy group came into the restaurant to celebrate a birthday and they were seated across from our corner table. We ended up having to move due to the noise and rowdiness of the kids in the group. This is definitely more of a family restaurant than a romantic Italian restaurant, which is fitting for the Sandusky area. The food is good, service is friendly, and the prices are not too bad.

Friday evening about 6p, wait time of ~20 min passed quickly in the downstairs room with complimentary appetizers and a table to sit at. Warm bread with delicious oil/sauce/cheese combo served quickly along with a side salad of fresh greens/cheese/chick peas/cracker. Food took a bit longer than we are used to but was worth the wait. Our party of 4 split the rice ball appetizer (yum!), ravioli, and manicotti. Delicious sauce (my daughter commented on the sweetness; we both enjoyed it), fresh mozzarella, perfectly tender pasta. We all loved it, left full, and had extra for later. Service was good, the wait staff support exceptional. The owner stopped by our table and we had a pleasant conversation. This was a thoroughly enjoyable find.

Found this on Yelp and it did not disappoint. Outside doesnât look overly impressive but donât let that deter you. The food is delicious and service staff cheerful & attentive. Try the zucchini fries for an appetizer. Then you canât go wrong with any of the pizzas. Best of all, you can order one pizza with two completely different halves containing any toppings. So itâs like getting 2 pizzas in one! One large pizza could easily serve 3 people. Weâll definitely stop again the next time weâre in Sandusky!
