Find out what Mexican restaurants to try in Pickerington. Pickerington is a city in Fairfield and Franklin counties in the central region of the U.S. state of Ohio. It was founded in 1815 as Jacksonville. Pickerington was known as Jacksonville until 1827, when the citizens petitioned the state legislature to change the name to Pickerington in honor of its founder, Abraham Pickering. It is a suburb of Columbus. The population was 18,291 at the 2010 census. As land annexation, development, and immigration into the Columbus area continues, the city of Pickerington (like many area suburbs) has generally followed suit. Pickerington is also home to the Motorcycle Hall of Fame, located at 13515 Yarmouth Dr. off Interstate 70.

The building is old, it needs to be remodeled or torn down and a new one built. The food is standard taco bell, but the building is old and icky.

The food line is identical to Chipotle, white rice or brown, bean choice, meat choice and toppings. The cheese is equally as good, I dont however remember seeing the sour cream everyone seems to like so much at chipotle. One difference I did find was in the their green sauce and lettuce. The lettuce is schredded ice burg, I prefer the torn roman that you get at chipotle. Their green sauce was simple green tomato, no heat. I had a chicken burrito, except for the lettuce, I found the flavor and size to be identical to chipotle. I also purchased chips, they seem to be store bought rather than kettle cooked on premises. They offer pepsi products, no coke. They do also offer Luzianne sweet or unsweet tea, fresh. I went on a Monday, it was free cookie day, a nice touch. They also offer a rewards card, get 12 entree purchases and receive a free entree. Overall, if I want a burrito, I would probably go here rather than driving to Reynoldburg which is the closest chipotle to my home.

Great food, fresh ingredients. Nice twist on standard Mexican food with squash, mushrooms and other fresh vegetables. Posters in the windows that would normally make me turn around because I assume food is pre-packaged and they feature draft beer specials, not good food. We ignored all the posters and hand written notes on the door and went in anyway. Glad we did because the food was great. Service staff was very friendly. Bathrooms....okay....no soap....not cool....but I will return.

First... I don't do chains when I travel. After this, that will change. Yes, Skyline has a unique menu. That actually helped... but this staff, from the great waitress to the manager, were spectacular people. The people in this community are truly lucky. Note: I will be back!!

Typical chain Mexican food. Sorry but I just wasn’t impressed with the bland salsa, bag tortilla chips and tons of shredded iceberg lettuce. Perhaps this passes for “authentic “ here but I found it very bland and overpriced, sorry. Wait staff were super nice though.
