We had plans on eating elsewhere, but luck have it, we ended up finding this little gem of a restaurant for lunch.We pretty much had the place to ourselves, and our waitress was very helpful and accommodating !! This is a little diner, with good food, great desserts, and a warm, down-home feel.My husband ordered the cheese steak, and loved it. My kids both ordered the Peanut Butter sandwich, and when it cam out toasted, I was scared they weren't going to eat. But, thankfully, this was the best thing ever (and I now make them toasted PB sandwiches almost every day, so Thank You !!). I ordered the fish and chips, and it was oh so tasty !! After our meals, the kids wanted to taste the pies, so we ordered a slice of (2) different pies. Very creamy and heavenly.Definitely worth a stop for lunch or dinner.

Very small, been around since the 40's. Unique burgers cooked on a very seasoned grill with a coating to make the outside crispy. Love the onion rings with ranch dressing. Can get a little pricey if you get the double cheeseburger, but it's wonderful.

Breakfast is always a good deal. Like another reviewer said, your coffee cup never goes empty. Waitresses are always walking around and making sure everything tastes good. If you like your eggs scrambled and cooked well done (brown) like I do, you'll have to send your food back. If you like over easy eggs, they are perfection. For lunch, Lake Erie perch tastes amazing and is one of the few places you can find it in Mansfield. If you don't come early enough, they will run out of the baked potatoes.

This restaurant started in Bellville and has added another location in Mansfield.It offers very good food at VERY reasonable prices, daily specials and amazing home made pies for desert. I order that first in case my favorite is sold out.Service is friendly and what this place lacks in bells and whistles is more than compensated by all that I have mentioned.If you are looking for an expensive, 'fine dining' experience this place is not for you. If you are looking for great food, friendly service, very reasonable prices it is hard to beat.

If you love corned beef, you must try the corned beef omelette-never order anything else no matter what time I go there--and my husband always loved their Coneys..my daughter and son-in law turned us onto this Mansfield gem years ago-and we have done the same with other family and friends.Altho my husband is no longer here-I know this was always a big thumbs up for him, I have been back with my daughter, and we both love the Omelettes. .
