Admittedly, it takes a lot for me to get excited about pizza. This did not accomplish it. Dayton, in fact, has its own pizza tradition, as exemplified by Marion's and Cassano's: thin, crispy crust, cut into small squares. If one burns out on that, Dewey's is a reasonable alternative. The ingredients are the stars here, and they're quite good. The crust--not so much. It's just bready enough that it doesn't get crisp, or have an real body. I did, however, have a quite creditable calzone.

Mom and Pop hometown restaurant serving Miamisburg since 1977.
Great staff and family owned. I've been there a few times before and haven't been disappointed in their food. This time I tried the Chicken Ranch Pizza and it was great. Loaded with chicken and great taste. Did this order in carry-out and was still very hot when we got it home. This is another item to put on my favorite list.

I would describe this place overall as a typical sports bar you can find just about anywhere in the country. Lots of TV's on the wall but the noise level overall wasn't at all bad. There wasn't anything outstanding about this place good or bad. The service was average for a sports bar. We only picked this place because it was one of the only ones open on the 4th of July. The small deluxe pizza I had here was pretty good in most respects, tasted pretty good and I enjoyed it. It was a thin crust one which I prefer. At $10, it was reasonably priced. My wife thought her meatball sandwich was decent. Drink prices were average.

We had dinner here with friends and enjoyed the meal. The food was average. We found the sauces quite bland and very lightly seasoned. The breadsticks were overbaked. The salad was its usual goodness. We are unlikely to return to Olive Garden unless we are meeting someone who likes going there.
