This diner in Newark had an extensive breakfast and lunch menu. I had corn beef hash with eggs and toast. The food was tasty and a good portion I had the rye toast and my wife the wheat toast both were excellent. I would come back here. Great coffee by the way.

We just ate here this morning and neither of us enjoyed our food. We had your typical breakfast fare, and it was just average at best. My husband had the biscuits and gravy and he said the gravy had the taste and texture of "wallpaper paste". Now granted, to my knowledge, he's never eaten wallpaper paste, but needless to say, he was not impressed. My order was wrong on the other hand and the egg was overcooked but the pancake was fluffy. Thankfully it was not too expensive. If we find ourselves traveling through Newark again, be rest assured we will pass by Daisy's Diner gladly.

Great place for breakfast. The staff is very friendly, and make you feel like they want you there. Restaurant is very clean and light. I had the French Toast which was delicious, my friend had the cheesy potatoes with eggs and loved it. We thought the prices were very reasonable. A great way to start the day. Highly recommend.
Love this place! Great food, friendly and fast service. Mick's is a wonderful, locally-owned and operated restaurant that's perfect to take the family for some home-town eats and icecream.
