Granted, we frequent Sapore as much as possible and since their price fix menu changes every season, our goal is dining here at least 4 times per year. That being said, we obviously like coming back. This time around, one of us actually ordered off the main menu, while the other had the Fix Menu Di Pesce. The fixed menus include 4 courses (appetizer, salad, pasta and entree), plus a pallet cleansing intermezzo, dessert and all diners are greeted with an amuse-bouche. They are very accommodating if one of the preset items does not work (i.e. allergies, etc.). That did occur this evening, so my guest opted to skip the PEI Mussels (which looked great when passing by to other tables) and instead the wild boar meatballs. I can't say I was upset of their allergy and the meatballs were fantastic. While my guest dine on the meatballs, I enjoyed the peperoni Ripieni (grilled sweet peppers stuffed with artisanal sausage. Both of the appetizers had a tomato based sauce, but completely different in flavors and texture. The next course was Insalata Campagnola (roasted beet salad) and a Caesar salad. This was followed by a crab stuffed ravioli and potato gnocchi. Keep in mind the Chef is from Italy and you'll probably not find any better pasta dishes there, let alone in the U.S. The entrees that evening were the strip steak special (perfect accompanying sauce w/brussels and whipped potaotes and the grouper filet which included risotto and pan-seared vegetables. Both of these as both were phenomenal and paired fantastically with the Italian Merlot. You did read that right. We actually began enjoying that with the pasta course. Last, but not least, the dessert course. We had these packed to go (along with the leftovers) and enjoyed the Crostata al Limone (lemon tart) the following day.Wendy is all over the place and making sure your glasses remain filled and describes the dishes so you can picture them in your mind clearly. We feel the Chef Loretta creates an atmosphere that you are eating at your Italian grandmother's home (albeit mine didn't cook anywhere close to this) as she welcomes you into your home and treats everyone like family and makes sure to take care of everyone.

Guido Pizza is a very popular place . Every dish we have gotten here was delicious. In add, the service is spot on. Both friendly and timely. But Guidos goes farther than that, they go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Called for delivery on a Sunday evening. Delivery was fairly quick, 34 minutes and pizza was hot. We ordered two pizzas, an 8 cut and 6 cut. They were smaller than normal pizza shops. Hardly any sauce on them. Toppings were sparse too. I thought they were a little pricey for what was in the box. $34 for the two pizzas, delivery charge extra. Was not impressed but did enjoy them as we had a taste for pizza. Not sure if we will go back because we have the best pizza shop in the Northeast Ohio area right here in Chesterland and that is where we always get our pizza (except on Sundays).
Chesterland has a half dozen or so pizza restaurants at any given time (currently including Guido's, Pizza Hut, Bada Bing!, Danny Boy's, and this one at present). Georgio's is a franchise that is part of a chain of about 30 restaurants in northeast Ohio. This location is strictly take-out or delivery. It's on Mayfield Road maybe 1000 feet east of Chillicothe/306 with parking just outside.Georgio's sticks pretty much to the basics. They have good pizza with the toppings you would expect, plus a number of specialty pizzas. They have wings as well as subs, salads, and calzones. The food is good and the price is fair. On our last visit we got a large pizza on special for something like $5.99, which was a great value. This is a good choice if you just want to order a pizza for dinner or a game.
