Four of us went for dinner and were extremely pleased. The four different entrees were all good. Veal and pork schnitzel, chicken paprikash and a combo plate. We all agreed this was a place we would enjoy again and would recommend. They had a pumpkin brûlée and it was good as well.

This was a Perkins years ago. We have passed this place for years and a co-worker recommended. At Tuesday lunch we had Lake Erie Pearch and Chicken Pop. The restaurant side was lightly crowded with mostly seniors. Who know where to get a good meal. Server was great, food better, just the right portions. Stop driving by and treat yourself to tasty Eastern European flavors.

State Meats is primarily a butcher shop with a deli counter. You will not find fresher or more delicious food. Whenever we visit family in Ohio, we stock up on food to take back home with us. The kielbasa is the best; the pirogi are almost as good as my mom used to make (and that is one of the highest compliments one can give), the beet horseradish is delicious. The lunch meats are fresh. I can go on and on. Just a word of caution: if you shop here around a major holiday (Easter or Christmas), be ready to wait in the line that stretches out the door. But take a number and wait. You'll never find anything as fresh or as delicious anywhere else (with the exception of my mom's kitchen).
