Had a gift card and used for a nice dinner. Joined their e-club and had a very nice $12 appetizer of shrimp. Meer was pricey for a local IPA at $7. Ordered 6 oz filet medium rare and was tasty and done right. Certainly recommended for families and moderate steak dinners.

Great for families, the $4 special is well worth it. Super service and variety. Also a nice visit if you just want something light.

We enjoy this style of restaurant and visited for the first time for an early dinner Saturday. Meal started with decent, slightly salty broth / soup and salad with a dressing a bit different from that typically found in Japanese steak house restaurants. It was tasty, but the salad was nothing but iceberg lettuce (again, typical) and very watery. Chef then appeared with usual jokes and tricks. We both ordered what was advertised as NY Strip Steak. We both found the meal tasty, but the steak was so thin that my medium rare was well done; my wife's medium well was well past that. Both were tough - some of hers to point she could not chew and took it home to a happy dog. The vegetables were excellent - better than usual with these meals. A few other notes, the shrimp appetizer portion was served after the rest of the meal and consisted of two shrimps each. I recall wondering how the chef planned to stretch the meager number of shrimp he had into appetizers and portions for our table mates who each had ordered combinations with shrimp ... still am. Also, the sprouts, which are usually a highlight for me, consisted of a very meager serving. That turned out to be a bonus since they were limp and past their prime. All in all, this was a mixed bag. We will likely return, but will order some other main course - the vegetables alone are worth the return trip. Until we do that, the verdict is still out.
