When we went it was because we were wanting a corned beef sandwich and we had asked a group for recommendations and this place was recommended. Usually when you want a corned beef sandwich you want that gigantic sandwich that is piled high with thinly sliced, flavorful and juicy corned beef on rye with horseradish and mustard on the side. Well the sandwich was pretty big..so we got excited...plenty of mustard in the cup but we went looking for the horseradish.. none on sandwich and none on the side. Thankfully, we had some in the fridge...so we slathered it on in anticipation of the first bite (we did take out). It was disappointing. No flavor and very very dry! It was hard to swallow without washing down with a drink..no juicy corned beef! The pickle was great! I would try a different sandwich ..I hear their Gyros are much better...but don't get the corned beef because it won't hold up to that favorite deli that we all know and love!
Our family had almost everything on this menu. Needless to say it has quickly become a staple in our weekly meal plans. Of all the Greek restraunts to occupy this space FINALLY the real deal has arrived. Their gyros are tasty. My wife prefers the American gyro (lamb meat) and I prefer the Greek gyro (pork). Spanakopita is a sold choice. My favorites are the fries with feta cheese and the fried feta cheese (holy cow awesomely good). This a good choice. Please give it a try by sitting in our carrying out. They even deliver.
Where to eat American food in Medina: The Best Restaurants and Bars
After recently moving to Medina, we decided to give the restaurant a try as we are always on the look out for a good gyro. We were not disappointed. The gyro was huge, with excellent seasoning and a tangy tzatziki sauce. I actually had trouble finishing it and ordered an extra pita to have the rest of the sandwich the next day. We've been back on three other occasions and have come away with the same opinion...it was all good and I would highly recommend a visit.
