Donât waste your time on this so called deli! Their sandwiches are way over priced, and the owner, and his employees are rude! I noticed that a lot of the reviews on this deli, talk about the attitude of the employees. I agree, the employees give the impression they donât need your bussiness. Over the years, I have given this deli a retry many times, but everytime I come back and nothing has improved! There was a time around 10 years ago, when I, and the company I worked for would spent close to $800. plus a month in Mr. Wagners restaurant! The employees seemed to be put out because I would place such a large order. Also they are open until 10:00 pm, yet they did not like it when I placed an order at 9:00, they even advised me to call ahead at least 2 hours before they closed. They are working for the customer, not the other way around. So sorry that my $800.00 a month was an inconvenience to the deli. Not to worry, I will never bother them again! Unlike 20 years ago, there are way more restaurant options in Springfield now.

MY first White Castle visit was in Columbus, OH 1950, Coffee 5 cents and white Castle Hamburger 5 Cents. No Cheese Burger in 1950. Now fast forward to Dec 2016, what a difference 66 years can make. They have a FULL Menu today. AND Check the price, they can beat all of them.

Attitude of behind the counter personnel was unacceptable ... food unnecessarily wasted and thrown away ... salads and sub sandwiches were very good ... convenient location ... clean inviting dining area ... but, personnel on 8/23/2019 had an unfriendly demeanor and overcharged our fare, with a return with no apology...Hi Terrance,Thanks for the feedback. I am sorry that you had an unfriendly experience. We try very hard to make sure everyone is friendly and helpful. Sometimes however, people have bad days which apparently was the case here, and unfortunately can affect service. I'm glad you enjoyed the food, and that you were refunded your money, and I hope your previous and future visits were/will be much better than the one on 8/23. Is there any way you could rate us in entirety (all visits, food, dining, etc) rather than just 2-stars for the poor interaction you had on one day? I understand if you don't like the food, or any of your other experiences that you would rate 2-stars....but, if you don't really think we are a 2-star restaurant, I would love for you to give us an improved rating.
