The other night my husband and I came in, we ordered Scallops, beef ragu and a shank. The food was amazing. The wines took forever to come because the bar was packed which is understandable. Our server was absolutely wonderful! We hoped for a better view but I’m glad we sat where we did, During our meal we overheard a man who may have been a manager threaten to slap one of his employees upside the head. Before even making this review I’ve seen many people complain about the owner/manager being rude and arrogant and it’s an absolute shame nothing seems to be done about it. After hearing that i don’t think we’ll ever come back.

New this year was an catered October Clambake. Chicken, clams, potatoes, corn, chowder and slaw. Everything was wonderful with a great price of $30 per person. It was a casual affair. The weather cooperated and we were able to dine on the patio. Great acoustic music duo. Great relaxing atmosphere with a very nice clientele. We like Connie's Blush wine and it was perfect for the afternoon. Lots of space for any size group. It is self serve, you buy the wine inside and bring it out. You needed to walk through the line to get your clam dinner, but you were able to pace yourself when you were ready. No exact set time to get dinner (during the serving time). Great place to come outside of the clambake. The do have a small menu with pizza, sandwiches , cheese plates, dessert etc. They usually have acoustic, soft rock, and other music during the weekends. Check website for add'l infoSo happy you were pleased with the clambake. Thank you for sharing.

The Estate on Coffee Creek

Tried this restraunt for the first time for the Mother’s Day Brunch. We were patrons of Nick’s restraunt in downtown Willoughby for many years, still go back with the new owner! I expected so much more from Nick. The dining room looks like a high school gym, no ombiance, missed the globes from the ceiling even if in a small space, the Bloody Mary Mimosa bar was average at best, I would rate it a 1, the mix was bottled, and not the best, Husband asked for a orange juice free mimosa, got a laugh from the server and complied, (now we know why they put orange juice in it, bff,) for 15$ it was the worst Bloody Mary I have had. All the food on the buffet was room temp to cold, beef was very tough, husband said the roast pork was tender but cold. We are experienced home cooks, I was concerned about eating room temp food, not below or above safe levels. Chef Nick should know better. I just hope we don’t get sick tonight. As I said so very disappointed, expected so much more from a Chef I truly admired when in Willoughby. This expierance just confirmed why I do not like buffet meals, such a shame since I actually asked for this, I expected better. No complaints about service they tried hard to accommodate.
