After spending (and I mean spending!) the afternoon at the Hollywood Casino in Toledo, OH, we wanted Chinese food for dinner and this place is very close to the casino, We got an order of the House Special Egg Foo Young for $7.25 and an order of Moo Goo Gai Pan $7.95. We thought the food was very good, good size portions and the prices very reasonable compared to a lot of Chinese restaurants we've eaten at, We saved half the food for another meal, We got a carryout for our daughter - Vegetable Lo Mein, Egg Drop Soup and Almond cookies and that was only cost $5.70. We would return the next time we are in the area,
Never eat here! We ordered food from here and found a dead cockroache in their gravy. Made us pissed because we where hungry! I believe that people who serve food should make sure they have a clean environment and clearly thus is not the case here! I feel so disgusted and only thankful that we did not eat the food after seeing it!

This is a very extensive buffet. While the staff were very friendly, they had little ability to discern questions regarding the food. This is likely due to a language barrier. When we were able to converse with one, we were assured that the items shown as vegetarian were prepared that way. Unfortunately, it was not so. We experienced the problems below shortly after arriving home. If you are an omnivore, this is a great place. If you are vegan or vegetarian, you most likely will want to avoid it.Vegetarian/Vegan IssueAs a third generation lacto-ovo vegetarian who has never eaten animal products (other than dairy, eggs, and honey), whenever I consume food that has been contaminated with animal products I experience very uncomfortable gastrointestinal problems. These include abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhea, and sometimes fever. The contamination can be caused by something as simple as using a utensil to serve a meat dish and then using the same one (without cleaning) on a vegetarian dish. The digestive problems occur due to the lack of the existence in my digestive system of the fauna and flora that break down meats. Persons who have eaten meat products in the past but who have not eaten meat products for several years or more also experience varying degrees of discomfort. Most chefs, cooks and diners are unaware of the problem and most do not believe me when I speak to them of it. A few exceptional people grasp the issue and have acted in a positive manner.
