The atmosphere is very comfortable and inviting. They have great daily specials, and I can honestly say that there is nothing on the menu that I don't like. Weather you would like a delicious burger for lunch or a perfectly cooked strip steak this is the place to come. I highly recommend this place for any and all occasions, and I love the fact they offer catering.Once you come once you will be hooked!

We were a family union party of 16 people. Despite it being a Saturday night, the manager allowed us to make a reservation, which we greatly appreciated. The thin crust pizza was terrific, as were the Jumbo Pretzel and Chicken Tortilla soup. The service was efficient and Accurate, which is impressive when it is such a large party. Very well done.

Fantastic perch plate on Friday - prefer to try different places but would have gone back on consecutive days if Saturday had Friday's fish specials too. Great big burger was also good and ample amounts of cole slaw and fries along with the meals. Reasonably priced as we got out of there for under $50, including tip, for a meal and drinks for a family of 4 with two small kids. Friendly waitstaff where everyone pitched in. Not sure we saw the same person more than twice - though service still was a bit slow. Definite bar atmosphere - there were screws starting to poke through the top of the table where we were seated.

So my husband and I ordered an $18.00 corned beef sandwich ( Reuben ). The meat was so fatty it was gross, the fries were horrible, like they were cooked in old grease. They were hard and in small pieces. Why would the waitress even server them? We Would have sent it back to the kitchen, but we had no time we were catching a show. When we went to the bathroom before we left, it was so disgusting that my first thought was gosh if the bathrooms are this gross what does the kitchen look like. Will definitely never go back.

I would have to say that this is primarily a sports bar -- lots of TVs throughout the bar and restaurant tuned to various sporting events. Extensive menu and a nice draft and bottled beer selection. It has all the usual sports bar type food, like wings/burgers/pizza/etc., but where it starts straying away is in some of the more inventive entrees. Not often do you get a vodka shrimp spaghetti in a sports bar (and a good one at that) or my shrimp stuffed salmon filet (delicious). If there was a 4.5 stars category I would have used that because it is dark in the restaurant area due to the high, dark-stained wooden ceilings. But because of the food/beer/service/reasonable prices, it gets rounded up rather than down. We'll definitely be going back.
If you like walleye dinners, this is the place to go. It's coated with crushed pretzels (yes, pretzels) with a corn sauce. You've got to try it. Blue Cheese burgers with spicy fries (they'll make them even spicier if you wish. The bartender/waiter is a hoot. This is under new ownership and they are slowly making facility upgrades

Had a great lunch today with family. Most of us enjoyed the seasonal menu with new choices that were excellent. The sandwiches were so large that we had to request boxes. -enjoy

Whiteyâs has been around forever and a moon simply because they know to do burger. Their burgers are enormous with the toppings running out of the sides. My favorite is the Czar burger. Huge piece of meat, with a healthy topping of mushrooms, a great white cheese. The fries, onion rings, and fried mushrooms are hot and plentiful. The best part is that the bill will not break the bank. The only bad part is that they only take cash, but there is an ATM right inside the front door.

Stopped by around 1pm for a late lunch. The place was still packed and people were walking away not wanting to wait:( We waited and were seated after 15mins.:) Staff was friendly and were working hard to take care of the customers:) My Fish/Chips were good:} So was the wife's Shrimp basket:) It is a small restaurant, yet, your in a small town with limited choices. They have outside seating on warmer days. Parking was find, getting in and out from the road can be a little sketchy:( Our server did a great job:)

While in town to visit Cuyahoga Valley NP ate lunch and dinner at the Lizard. Both meals were enjoyable and well prepared. We were quickly seated and waited on. Both times, the waitress gave us great service. The Lizard prides itself on a great beer list and I have to agree. If you can't find a beer that suits your taste, you must be dead.
