Reviews on Pizza food in Pickerington, Ohio, United States. Pickerington is a city in Fairfield and Franklin counties in the central region of the U.S. state of Ohio. It was founded in 1815 as Jacksonville. Pickerington was known as Jacksonville until 1827, when the citizens petitioned the state legislature to change the name to Pickerington in honor of its founder, Abraham Pickering. It is a suburb of Columbus. The population was 18,291 at the 2010 census. As land annexation, development, and immigration into the Columbus area continues, the city of Pickerington (like many area suburbs) has generally followed suit. Pickerington is also home to the Motorcycle Hall of Fame, located at 13515 Yarmouth Dr. off Interstate 70.

We eat here every other week. We rotate between Romeos and Pizza Cottage. I prefer a thin crust, but they do not offer that in a small pizza. My wife loves the traditional crust, this is her go to place. Phone service when calling in your order is one notch above terrible. They always put you on hold, if you have a coupon it creates a project. When you go into pick up the pizza the kids really do not want to help you. They really need to put the phones in the back and make the people take care of the customer. Very frustrating and it happens every time I'm there.

Just returned from our first visit. First of all everyone should sign up for the rewards app. You get a free flatbread! We had the Greek flatbread, Very good! I would highly suggest going during happy hour. M-F 3-6. Half price all pints of beer, martinis, wine and mules. Also deep discounts on "Foodie Fare". I had the Sideswipe Squashed Pumpkin beer. EXCELLENT!! I ordered the Shrimp & Grits, and the Poutine from the "Foodie" menu. Both were very good but be warned...the shrimp & grits was very spicy. The poutine came out very early, even before the flatbread. The manager stopped by and said you could order the shrimp & grits with no spice, low or medium. My wife got the pulled pork. It was good and plentiful but she did not like the bourbon sauce. I thought it was good. They cook their fries nice and crispy! After deducting the flatbread our bill was $23.25. The flatbread would normally be $10.25. For the shrimp & grits, poutine and beer it was about $12.00. The pulled pork & fries was $10.25. Good service and everyone we met was from the local area. I like the way they display all their current draft beers on the monitors.Thank you for the review, osuffan. We're grateful you took the time to let others know you enjoyed dining at MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub. Cheers!

I always get the same thing, bug don on white with sausage (well done) only extra dressing on the side and a pizza. Been ordering from the pickerington location over 5 years. 9 times out of ten its wrong. I usually call, but haven't last two times. Last night sasuge was not well done, few days ago no sasuge at all and dressing was on the sub. Once they gave my ranch dressing. I've ordered the spicy jack before and it clearly was not made with peper jack cheese and half had no sasuge. I love the food so much I keep ordering, however i wish they could get my order right.
Great pizza and salad. Build your own pizza, one price regardless of what you want on it. Bakes quickly, hardly any wait time.
Well, this was our 2nd visit. The first time we went there were some older 30ish people working the line but today it was (what appeared to be) teens. Slopping sauce on the service line, not cleaning up, just running items down the line. Joking with one another rather than being professional. The customer in front of me asked for a cesars salad, the kid the line didn't know what it was. Any food that landed on the service line was just tossed on the floor. As for the quality of food, it was good but makes you wonder what happens behind the scenes. It's a brand new building but it won't stay clean for very long. It already looked like the floor could use a good scrubbing. Again, the food was good but service just lacked professionalism.
Went in based on friends saying Jetts was pretty good pizza. They were right. It's take out only, no seating. I got 2 pieces of square pizza and a 16oz bottle of soda for $5.99. It wasn't pre-made. It was made upon order, I got banana peppers and pepparoni. The cheese was really quality tasting, just enough sauce, bottom was buttery and crunchy as were the sides. I thought it was going to be like little cesars or domino's, it was MUCH better. I will absolutely grab a slice of thick crust pizza from here. Haven't tried anything else but I will. Give them a try.

As an east coast transplant, I thank God for Pizzeria NY! There must be at least 50 pizza places in and around Pickerington, most of which are chains. I'm telling you people, this is the real deal! Home made, thin crust that is crispy on the edges and chewy throughout, delicious homemade sauce and tons of cheese. AND they cut it in pie shaped slices instead of postage stamp sized squares. I don't know about you, but i can handle a full slice of pizza! Strombolis and subs are to die for. I can't understand for the life of me why anyone would go to a chain and get a mediocre pizza when this little gem is right in Picktown.

First time visitor, liked how they bring popcorn to your table. Waitress was very friendly and checked on us several times and re-filled our drinks. We had pepperoni pizza and everything about it was good except the sauce did not have much flavor at all. Crust was good and crispy, Pepperoni's were excellent ... If only you had a better sauce with some spice and flavor. Can't comment on any of the other food. Can say restaurant was clean, lots of tv's to catch the football games. Ample parking

We live in Pickerington and had never gone. We found a groupon, $40 voucher for $24. Couldn't pass it up. We ordered 2 large pizzas and a 2 liter of sprite for carry out. (1 pepperoni and 1 sausage and banana peppers.) All for our $24 voucher. It would have been $35. Pretty good deal. We had 4 adults and 2 kids and it was plenty. Everyone said it was good. They have a mix of provalone and mozzarella cheese, the sauce was sweet but not overly. The sausage was italian style. We were suprised, very good stuff. We will definitely be back, give them a try and don't forget to check out the deal on groupon.

They don't deliver to individual addresses but do have a drive thru window. Convenient for pick up. Most people go for pizza, which is good but we love their spaghetti and meatballs. We always ask for extra sauce, which is very good. The dinner comes with 2 large meatballs, a big salad and large piece of toasted/buttered sub bun. The spaghetti is regular size, not angel hair. The sauce is sweet but not overly. The meatballs are tender and have a great flavor. We split two spaghetti dinners between two adults and a 10 and 12 year old. All of which are hearty eaters. It's plenty. Or you can always opt to add a couple more meatballs to your order. Can't say enough good about the flavor. Staff are prompt at the window and pleasant on the phone. Two spaghetti dinners AND a dessert pizza for $24. Good value for dinner for four, including dessert. Give them a try.

Had never been here before. My husband had but it had been awhile so he couldnât remember what it was comparable to so I took a chance! We were seated promptly and the server was friendly and efficient. The breadsticks we had for appetizer were really good! The pizza is a thin, crispy crust; sauce a tad spicy but not hot, toppings are plentiful and the beer is cold and all is reasonably priced! They state theyâre award winning and although I was pleased with everything and will definitely return, I wouldnât rate this as award winning pizza. I have zero complaints though and I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. Thank you.
