We go here often and I'm telling you, the best burgers/bar food on the west side. Friendly, clean, and cheap. A burger, fries, wings, and 2 beers was $17. Tons of burgers; try the Lucy (hot Hungarian pepper & cheese). Great chili too. Family friendly too.

I do't understand. It was rally night and ONE waitress had to handle the half of the restaurant we sat on. Thru no fault of hers the service was ridiculously slow. Why would the manager skimp on what is probably their busiest night. The food was good. The prices were reasonable but the service sucked even though the poor girl was running her ass off.

In area for business. Stopped by for a quick lunch. Great burger and service. Owner John Marino was present an introduced himself to me, great guy and nice to see an owner take interest in his customers. Will definitely go back next time in area for business.

The place was busy but there was no problem finding a table, the food was excellent and the service was really good. We sat at a high-top table near the bar. They have a great atmosphere in the bar area. The service was excellent as our waitress stopped by several times to check on us. We had a Cuban sandwich that came with fried pickles on top! We also ordered the loaded fried cheese which is a block of deep fried cheese with cavatelli, sauce and a meatball on top! Everything was hot, fresh and delicious!

Nice size portions, reasonably priced and tasty. Hubby and "Sunday" Dinner. Meatballs were amazing. We learned the restaurant won a local award for their meatballs. Hubby said they were like his Mom used to make! I had Trackside chicken smothered in sauteed mushrooms, onions & peppers seasoned just right. Our waitress (Autumn) was delightful and very attentive. We were parched after our long road trip, and were able to relax with wine and appetizers. Restaurant was clean, nicely furnished and within walking distance of our hotel and several other hotels. Nice to find this gem. Highly recommend.

Excellent Prime Rib/cheddar mashed potatoes/Yorkshire Pudding/salad and dessert for $50.00 per couple. However, the wine that was part of the price was NOT uncorked at the table, nor was the cork in evidence. I am wondering if the wine came from a box and was just brought to the table as the brand of Merlot of the label. All wine should be uncorked at the table. It surprised me, as we eat there regularly and usually the waitresses follow appropriate serving procedures.

Love this restaurant!! The chicken salad is huge and full of fresh ingredients. I prefer to get the chicken grilled and ask for less sauce on the chicken. They are always happy to accommodate special requests. The loaded chips is a tasty appetizer that easily feeds four people. Probably not the healthiest option but very tasty.
A very nice local place. Good service, and a nice friendly crowd. It was right in the center of town with decent easy parking. Lots of good burgers, sandwiches and wings too. Food was good at a nice price.

If you're not a local and are travelling through Girard, you would never guess this windowless building behind a pair of windowless black doors would house anything that you'd want to expose your children or grandparents to, but once inside you'll find that the atmosphere is surprisingly family friendly and the food is good. We came from out of state to a rehearsal dinner that was held in the back room. On the menu for this dinner was a barbecue chicken pizza that was very delicious. The brownies were equally good. I would gladly come back here just for those two items if I ever found myself in Girard again.
