Our experience was great. Dining area not all crowded, able to converse. They have a nice selection of beers and wine. The mixed drinks were a good proportion. The food was (take home amount) and very good. Our table had salmon, steak, pork chop and a chicken special without one complaint. The service was friendly and attentive. Food is up to the individual but I believe you will be satisfied at the Wood and Wine

We like to try new places and decided to make the drive to Avon. So glad we did. We all got burgers and they were outstanding. And they were so lenient with substitutions (a salad for their fries). Although everyone else got fries and said they were delicious. Fresh cut! worth the drive and will go again!

We ate here based on Tripadvisor reviews. It is nothing more than a chain restaurant with a great beer menu. The server was 'surprised' we were new to the restaurant. He was quick to point us to the new computer screen menu, which was nice. The buffalo cauliflower bites were great. BUT...they were followed by our dinner 3 minutes later. The server warned us that the meal would likely be out shortly after the apps.."cuz we're not busy" at 7:20pm on a Saturday! We asked to delay the meals...not an option. Meals came and were like they came out of a microwaved package. I'd never go back, in spite of the the good beer selection. You can find that in lots of places...with good food.

We are Michael Symon fans and found B Spot burgers to be both delicious and offering superb service. Although the menu features burgers, fries, and shakes this is not an inexpensive meal as everything is a la carte. My daughter had the vegan Impossible Burger which was delicious and my son had a regular burger with a gluten free bun which was also great. Valet parking is available as is a free parking garage and surface lots.

Especially when contrasted with the service we encountered at a private party a few weeks previous at the Rocky River location, the service was adequate at best. To be fair, the second party was on a Sunday during football season, but even then, we basically had to physically get in front of one of the wait staff assigned to the room to get their attention, and the room is not really all that large. It took about a half hour to just place our orders, and then several false starts over the course of the next 45 minutes before we finally had everything we had ordered. (Please note, these were basic menu items without additions or substitutions.) Underwhelmed with the service at this location.

Nestled in Avon Lake, Close quarters provides a unique pub experience in the suburbs. The close atmosphere allows you to engage with the bartender and those around you and the food is exactly what you would expect from a wonderful local bar. Close Quarters is unique, kitschy and lots of fun! It's been a staple in Avon Lake for many years and is one of Cleveland's hidden gems. I recommend anyone on the west-side of Cleveland stop by Close Quarters, enjoy a beer and have the wings. (Wings are excellent). If you stop here once you will want to become a regular. Love me some CQ!

What a find . After a round of golf we stopped at this really hip and comfortable restaurant . Nice setting overlooking the golf course with great food . The owner makes her rounds and is very receptive and makes sure the guests are taken care of. Canât wait to return .

Enjoyed an evening on the patio in mid-October for the Lobster Bake. They did a fabulous job. I don't know what was better, the food or the beautiful October weather. The lobster was fresh and succulent. The clams were steamed to perfection with just the right seasoning. It was crowded so, service was a tad slow. The food made up for the wait. Great night. Would do again. Ohhhh did I mention the karaoke??? Come ready to sing for great entertainment.Thank you for your kind review! Very pleased to hear you had a wonderful time! My staff and I thank you! a comfortable place, but we arrived near a "shift change" and was told a few times our waitress would be with us (was given drinks etc while waiting). I had a walleye dinner that was just "average". My daughter had the salmon which looked pretty good. I would still try it again
