Things to do in Wellington
This restaurant has it all - home cooking at its finest with wonderful service. Everything was great from the gravy and biscuits for breakfast, grilled cheese for lunch and chicken tenders for breakfast. (Ate there a few times during a two week visit to Oberlin!)

This newer restaurant offers a very atypical menu without fear! And the fare is excellent. I had the Stroganoff and Brussels sprouts. Very well prepared and looked beautiful on the plate. You had better get here soon before the line is out to the street!Good Morning William:Thank you so much for the amazing compliment. We enjoy going to Lagrange Subway after we have been working in our yard on Saturday afternoons. It is always clean and everyone is friendly. This is a very busy subway but you can always get what you want in a short amount of time.

I went with my grand daughter and a friend. they liked it, and it was obviously very popular. I had a BLT. The bacon was overcooked as were the french fried that came with it.

We stopped into The Feve based on the tripadvisor reviews. It was 8:30 p.m. and it was noisy downstairs. Our home brewery has quieter seating upstairs so we asked about moving upstairs and we were told there was seating available. We went upstairs and we sat at a table. We had brought our menus with us. We noticed a waitress serving someone at the other end of the room, though no one came to serve us. After 15 minutes my husband walked up to the bar and the bar tender told him he could order at the bar, but she continued futzing around behind the bar. I have food allergies and we needed help with the menu. He asked if the hamburgers had onion powder and the bartender stated she'd have to check. He remained at the bar. She later advised the hamburger meat already had onion powder mixed in. She went back to futzing behind the bar, never making any suggestions as to what they could prepare that didn't have onions, and by that time I was tired of the lack of service and we left.

I really like this place. Friendly service, good cold beer, great food. If you like great old fashioned and slightly greasy hamburgers, this is the place to go in the Wellington area. That is not an insult, the burgers are truly good. I've also had their perch and a couple of other menu items and have never been disappointed.

Make homemade soups. Burgers are great. You get a lot of real French fries. Service has always been top notch. It is a bar, but a lot of people go there with children, to eat. Red iron outbeats Forts. Just won best wing contest. So with that being said, try there wings!

Our large group had reservations but they didn't add any staff. They took orders for a few people and then made their food and then took a few more orders and made their food. The people that ordered first were completely done before our table even ordered. You would think since they knew we were coming that they would have added staff or just had a selected menu so it would have gone faster. We were there over 90 minutes just to get a sandwich. Two friends said the French Vanilla just tasted like regular coffee. Fruit cup that came with my sandwich had 5 small slices of fruit. My turkey club was good. Staff was polite but really needed more help.

We had family visiting from out of state, and went to Dimitri's at the end of July. My wife and I (we're the locals) and our adult daughter and teenage grandson were our guests. This was our first time at Dimitri's, so we were not sure what to expect (but the TripAdvisor reviews all looked good). The little cafe was bustling a good half hour before twelve noon, but tables were open near the back. We all ordered burgers or sandwiches, and everyone seemed happy with what they got. Our waitress was exceptional, and made the trip down to Wellington worth it.

You can't beat this place. The service is always good and the food is well above average. They could spend a little more effort consistently putting out better food but it's a diner. What do you expect? Their specials are good and the service usually makes up for the occasional below average meal. They do not serve fresh iced tea which annoys me but they do have crappy fountain tea.
