We were a party of 6. Took forever to get drinks ordered. Then a guest actually got the drinks from the bar. The homemade chips and dip was good. 3 of the 6 plates had luke warm prime rib. Main course was brought before we even finished the salads. Overall it was ok food. Greaters were very nice and polite. Also they were making lighting repairs during dinner time... not very welcoming.

Needed a place to host a group of 11 on a Friday evening. This definitely worked for that. Got there at about 5:00 and got a table set up quickly. Service was decent. Pizza was just ok. I've had a lot better. Seemed to have a pretty good beer selection, but I didn't try any.

The pizza was all right, the nachos as an appetizer was a joke. It was Doritos with cheese on them. I would probably not go back it was overpriced for what you get.

Scooped up our daughter from college and we had dinner here. Went back for takeout the night after. The Tap Room and Restaurant are both roomy and modern and there is a function space for large parties. The menu is particularly interesting, good choices, ample accommodation for all ranges of food preferences, barbecue, vegetarian, pasta, burgers, full entrees and sides. The beer was terrific and the service was friendly and invested in the success of this new addition in Mt. Vernon. Thanks for stopping by and thank you for your description as you nailed us right on the head. We look forward to seeing you again and enjoy your summer!

Me and husband eat or visit here, to listen to the local bands, they are awesome and there is no cover charge. The food is great, and the staff is nice.

Stopped here with the family for an easy dinner. Glad we did! The burgers were really good. Ice cream was really good. Prices were very fair, especially the kids meals! Loved the old time diner feel. Will definitely stop back when I'm in town!

This is a take-out establishment only. Employees are always friendly when you call in your order and when you pick it up. Plan ahead on orders on the weekends. You may have to wait to enjoy one of the best pizzas in town!

There isn't a whole lot to complain about here. My wife's salmon entree was perfectly prepared, I ordreed the Chopped Steak which turned out to be surprisingly good. It was cooked exactly as requested. The Caesar Salad was also tasty and true to the classic version but not exactly the classic version. The delicious Apple Crisp was quite sizable so I split it with my wife. She allowed me to taste her 20 Year Old Graham's Tawny Port. It was superb and well worth the $9 they charge for a 2 ounce glass. The crisp was served warm, with ice cream that had a little caramel drizzle on it. Nicest apple crisp I've had in a long time! The Pinot Grigio from California and the Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand were both nice wines. Unfortunately, in the Cameron Mitchell tradition they are grossly overpriced. The Giesen S.B. which I buy for $10.99 a bottle and which costs the restaurant about $7.50 was listed at over $30 on the wine list . $22.50 would be more like it!
