So thrilled with this addition to the up and coming downtown Middletown. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the service great. And the food----- beautiful presentation-- and the taste beat the presentation. You get more than you pay for here. This was my first visit for a full meal. My friend had the stuffed pepper, and I had the fettuccine alfredo. Both were sooo good. I would order both again, but would hate to miss other items. The salads coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. I commented to my boyfriend that @ the Square is the kind of place I would like to visit weekly!
Very good subs. The bread is excellent and I always get friendly service in Subway restaurants. Always get fast service as well.

Murphy's Landing is located in the old Murphy's Five & Dime at the corner of Central & Broad Streets in downtown Middletown. I had the special for the day, a prime rib hoagie, and it was delicious. If you are familiar with some of the history of Middletown, you will enjoy a meal before or after walking around the 3 floors of the old store. There is a framing shop upstairs, a gift shop, and stained glass business on the ground floor, with room for the stained glass workshop and classes downstairs. While walking around stop and enjoy the photos and of days gone by. Ask about where the restored lights, doors, and furnishings came from. If you went to school in Middletown, you may have seen them years ago.

My wife and I have been here on every Chistmas Eve for many years...this year they were not open on Christmas Eve...that being a Sunday evening because of the stupid liquor laws in Ohio. They could not sale booze on Sunday, even, in this little area in Middletown, Ohio...whereas other less than a mile away other establishments could. Even the Liquor Store can be open on Sunday. We Went to the Meadows, a restruant, that I have frequented for over 40 years....the food was wonderfull...the ambiance outstanding...where is there a better place to spend a perfect evening with great food and friends? Not in Middletown!

Our menu is filled with classic American dishes like steak, salmon, burgers, sandwiches and salads, as well as other traditional favorites like slow-roasted prime rib and our famous chicken tenders, all at a great value.
Food was not good at all. The wait was long for the food like we were forgotten about. The waitress was stressed too no end. Very forgetful and was not very attentive. Our order came out wrong twice. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

We ate here for lunch while at a soccer tournament just down the street. The restaurant was very nicely decorated, had a long bar, staff was friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding! Cauliflower wings, Veggie burger, Hamburger, Mac-N-Cheese, Fries - all wonderful! If we are back in Middletown we will definitely visit again.

Always on the lookout for something different, I decided to give Gracie's a try. The menu is rather limited, but there appears to be something for every taste. I decided to try the burger, and it was excellent. I know it's hard to get excited by a burger, but this really needs a special name, because it's not your average burger by any means. It was huge, cooked perfectly, and bursting with flavor. I'm not much on French fries, but they were OK, although VERY salty. If you're on a salt-restricted diet, this may not be the place for you, as the burger was salty as well. I had an excellent margarita, very flavorful and very smooth. The service was great. Overall, a great dining experience.

Had the gorgonzola chips for appetizer: nothing special and didn't finish. Salmon with broccoli: both were overcooked. Creole pasta was good, but chicken was bland. Overall an overpriced meal for below average quality. Guess that's why we were the only ones in the restaurant at 6 on a Tuesday night.

Depend on really good tasting food when you go to any Cracker Barrel. But like any place of business you don't get a homerun everytime. Well, the management at the Cracker Barrel will certainly take care of your issues and deal with them immediately. I will just say our waitress must have had an off day. She was nice and kind and made sure we got our food, finally. Other than that, I had a terrific chef salad, my lovely spouse's food was the issue, some cold items that were supposed to be hot, had to ask for a missing item or two. We will still return to the cracker Barrel.
