Things to do in Gallipolis
I'm a Subway regular so I feel qualified to state that this was, by far, the slowest Subway I've ever visited...BUT I give the employees full credit for trying their darnedest to keep things moving. I was there on a Saturday afternoon, and the three employees on duty had to juggle the regular in-store line, plus orders coming from a drive-through, plus faxed-in orders. I mean, really?? It would take a very skilled octopus to keep up with all of that! But if that weren't crazy enough, the family in line in front of us seemed to have never been to Subway before; they were having a hard time deciding what to order, and changed their minds a couple of times while their food was being prepared. It was easy enough to see that the two veteran employees were doing everything they could to (1) keep it together while (2) trying to keep the line moving along. I wish them the best, because I can't see any opportunity for things to improve for them as things are currently structured. My advice to you: if you choose to have lunch here on a Saturday, bring a double shot of patience!
Not only was the food excellent so was the service. The two items that stood out, to us, were the mozzarella sticks and the pizza. The pizza was cooked to perfection and the flavor was not all what you would expect. This may not be important to everyone, but it received an A+ from us, the fries were brown and crispy. That so seldom happens even if you request well done fries. Definitely try this place. There aren't many dining options in this town and this was our favorite.

Just happened to be near this town, while traveling, when the kids started getting hungry for dinner. We stopped and were surprised to find out it was only $2.99 for kids 12 & under on Tuesday. That was a blessing! The kids were all able to chose foods they liked and the adults enjoyed the nice salad bar and hot food bar. Everything was stocked well and good good. It's definitely one of the better Golden Corrals I've been to in several years. Had a very attentive server too, refilling drinks, taking away dirty dishes and even complimented on our well behaved kids. We were glad we stopped! Was a perfect place for dinner for our traveling family!
So surprised to find major improvement since last visit two years ago. Ordered country style 3 piece fish with fries and coleslaw. Large pieces of fish which were served hot. Prompt service, driest prices, who could ask for anything more? I see lots of great tasting fish in our future. Glad I checked them out again.
This is a locally owned and operated restaurant. They have the BEST milkshakes around! My favorite items to get and eat are the mozzarella sticks and a hot fudge and marshmallow milkshake with chocolate ice cream! The TacoDog footlong is also really good!! I haven't had anything that I don't like!
Moved to the area and after driving by dozens of times and the place always being busy, finally got a chance to stop. The biscuits and gravy are good but not great. I love biscuits and gravy and have eaten them at many places around the country and make them myself at home. So when I say they are "good but not great" it comes with experience. I will summarize by saying I won't go out of my way to go back but if someone wants to go, I would go again.

Super busy place. Ordered a burger with fries. It was really good and came out fast. Then ordered a specialty drink off their drink list. It was a seasonal. Incredibly, nobody there knew how to make it! I found that pretty strange.
