Their buffet is good as long as you don't get there too late. Check their hours! Their buffet is good but we saw an employee fill the lettuce for salads straight from a bag---no washing! I don't eat the lettuce but I eat everything else!

This place is also known for its Fri/Sat BBQ and large selection of craft beers. I don't believe it is yet listed in Trip Advisor. How can I go about sponsoring a review for this location? Thank you.
The specials on Tuesdays are usually good. The Korean smoked chicken tacos and the bacon wrapped grilled cheese are two of my husband's favorites. I really enjoy the reubens. The meat is lean and loaded with delicious sauerkraut. Small but varied selection of beers plus good service.

This was a short drive from our motel, and we chose it since locally-owned restaurants were closed on Sunday. Turns out theyâve recently had a remodel in the style other Bob Evans restaurants will get. Itâs a pleasing look with some fresh, graphic takes on the farm motif, some contemporary lighting. It was fairly busy and our waitress was friendly and efficient. For under $20 we had the turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes and the meatloaf, green beans, mashed potatoes, each entree with two fluffy biscuits, hot and tasty. This was a pleasant, satisfying dining experience.

I always get excited when I find a down homey diner when we travel. I was excited to see Whitey's diner, and we decided to have a late breakfast here. It was late Saturday morning, and the place was packed. We still got a seat within 5 minutes, and our waitress stopped by to take drink orders within a couple of minutes. She was very nice and explained some of the specials at the diner. I opted to get a Western omelet, but when it came it looked more like scrambled eggs with the ham, green peppers and onions just mixed in. It came with toast, and they use the large brush to ladle on a bunch of butter onto the toast, which I don't care for. Our son got a different omelet, and it also just looked like scrambled eggs with the goodies mixed in. We shared an order of their home fries, which are cooked on the griddle and were very tasty. My wife ordered two eggs scrambled and crispy bacon. the eggs looked good, but the bacon was undercooked.Overall, just an average diner. I was bummed out.

This place is off the beaten path and mostly local people dining here. The food is pretty good and the bartender knows how to mix a drink! Always had a good experience when visiting here.

We were in the area for a couple of days and wanted breakfast at a non-chain restaurant. I wish we had found this on our first morning - we would have been in every morning!I loved the atmosphere! The food was very good. They use real eggs! The service was efficient. The place seemed very clean (even the ceiling fan blades and air vents). Definitely the place to go for breakfast when in Fremont!

There are always wonderful lunch and dinner specials. Food is always excellent. Service is quick and friendly. It's a small-town pub atmosphere. There are booths, tables and a big bar to sit around. You won't leave here disappointed.

We stumbled onto Depot Pizza while driving from Chicago to Boston, and were blown away. We were quite impressed by how popular it was with the locals, which is usually a good sign. The bar was hopping, and there were a lot of people at the tables, despite it being quite early. The pizzas, when they came, were amazing. And the waitress made an excellent recommendation for local, seasonal beer. Great place!

Have not been around Fremont for years and was out on a bike ride and stopped to check out the advisor for a place to eat. Decided to check it out based on the reviews. I had THE best New York strip I think I've ever had cooked perfectly. With excellent hot potatoe salad. My wife that doesn't eat beef often had a hamburger with a pesto sauce that she thought was very good. Couple small issues, waiter spoke so fast couldn't hardly understand him and who ever wipes the tables down needs retraining. But we will be back.

We were scouting out restaurants for a family get-together and had heard that the Tackle Box II had good food. That part was right but itâs not a good location for our small group in that itâs quite noisy and not conducive for conversation. We were seated next to a 48â industrial fan! Have never seen one of those in a restaurant. So my rating reflects excellent walleye and a noisy environment.
