Carillon Historical Park welcomes you to the nation's first production brewery housed in a museum. Carillon Brewing Co is a place where the 1850s in Dayton comes alive. Historical recipes, ingredients, and techniques are used right before you to reproduce
Loved the feel of this museum-like brewery and restaurant. Rustic but clean. Everything is done historically accurate. We had a catered lunch for our large group and it was pretty good. Might get a little loud with the high ceilings. But I'd come back.

Last Saturday evening, my husband, two daughters, one son-in-law and three grandsons joined me for a birthday dinner hosted by my sister who was unable to attend. (She lives in Florida and planned the surprise celebration.) As such, she engaged Manager Daniel Grubich who subsequently contacted me by phone to invite me to the restaurant. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by Mr. Grubich and our server Adam. To say we were treated like royalty is an understatement. Everything we ordered was flawlessly prepared. The food was fresh and flavorful. I dined on the Coconut Shrimp and the House Salad. So yummy! My husband and one daughter requested the Trout, which they thoroughly enjoyed. My son-in-law savored the Fish Tacos. Two grandsons chose a Hamburger while the third devoured a Caesar Salad. Simply said, the food was divine! The piece de resistance, however, was the Jamaican Rum Pie. It was the most delicious dessert Iâve had in a long while.I canât say enough about the care, attention and exquisite service we all received that evening. Manager Grubich expended much effort in arranging and planning my birthday dinner. It was an event which will be forever etched in my memory.Daniel Grubich, Adam Cross and Mike Fisher, thank you.

We had a wonderful evening there and everyones steaks were cooked to perfection! Only positive comments from everyone in our group about their dinners. It was a truly enjoyable evening. Can't wait to return! Before this trip, every time we were in the Dayton area we would try to go to the Oakwood Club. This trip we came to the Pine Club after a friends recommendation. I couldn't be happier. All I can say this restaurant is hands down better than the Oakwood Club and we will come back on our next visit! I wish we could be back in Dayton next week to enable us to dine at the Pine Club again. As other people have said, they don't accept credit cards, take only cash or a check.

Our group of six gals had a great dining experience at Jimmie's. Our waitress, Sarah, who usually is a bartender, was superb. She suggested drink and entree items, chatted with us and got all our orders correct. The food was delicious and very hot when it arrived at our table. Get there early if possible or else you may have a wait. But whatever the wait time, it is well worth it for great food and a fun dining experience.

Independently owned "nice dining:" great food, friendly service, creative bar program in an un-stuffy atmosphere. Food, cocktails, beers, and wines change to reflect midwestern seasons with a focus on eclectic American and scratch made comfort food.
The cocktails are imaginative and tasty. The small plates are delicious and fun to share. We particularly enjoyed the fried chicken livers. The pickled vegetables were also very good. The rooms are very comfortable. The staff is attentive and helpful. I will return, particularly before my next trip to the nearby Century Bar.

Visited with 4 friends and we all enjoyed our lunch. However, service was slower than it needed to be. The server was friendly and all our orders came out correctly, but it seemed to take a long time between the time we ordered drinks and they were served, as well as when we ordered entrees and they were served. The restaurant was more than half full, but wasn't at capacity, so I don't understand why it was so slow.

There are fewer and fewer chef run restaurants around, especially in a mid-size city, but fortunately, there is an excellent one in downtown Dayton, Ohio. Corner Kitchen is owned and managed by a wonderful couple who know the restaurant business and have tried to offer an unique experience in both service and food. The menu is directed by the chef and most nights he is manning the kitchen producing excellent and inspired food. His soups alone are enough reason to visit this restaurant, but since the menu is seasonal there is always other reasons to visit. The summer menu is in place and the meals run the gamut from diver's scallops to one of the best hamburger in town. In between there are multiple options to explore. The servers are pleasant and offer suggestions at the guests request without interfering with the conversation that is bound to occur at this laid back place, where the food stands out.
