We stayed one night and had a big breakfast before heading our for a busy day. Service was fast. The coffee was good. They offered a special menu for St Patty's Day but everyone in our group got traditional breakfast plates with add-ons like fruit. Everything was prepared beautifully.

Sometimes this Bob Evans location is "hit or miss." This time was a good visit. Our server, Maisey, took good care of us. The food was good. I had the potato encrusted flounder. It is a tasty light meal. The cinnamon coffee cake that is one of the bread options is good enough to eat for dessert!

Entering The Barn, all one could possibly say is, "Awe"! The colors, the flowers, add to the fact that the 100 year old barn has been beautifully restored. The menu was superb and the dinner attractively served. Service, is the only reason for the four star review. My husband has heart disease and we phoned to let chef know that he would require a low-sodium diet. He was able to prepare a lovely duck dish, which is rare as most restaurants offer steak and fish only. However, when his meal came, the waiter gave him his side dish with a bacon topping. Also, my daughter is a vegetarian, and requested the fabulous butternut squash ravioli, but again when she asked for the wedge salad without bacon topping, he delivered the salad with bacon. He was kind, but not aware. More restaurants of this caliber, have a staff that understand individual requests. With that said, I would recommend this restaurant for any special occasion. In fact, request table 43 as it is an elevated, separated seating area that was originally the silo! Fabulous place for 4, 6, or 8 guests. They said the area could accommodate 10, but it might be tight. I agree..limit to 8. Awesome for a special event and an area where conversation would be easy and the view over the top of restaurant excellent.

I was very excited to try this restaurant but I was let down. The atmosphere was very confusing. The decor was very nice and the place was upscale but the ambiance was very casual, like some sort of family friendly chain resturant. Not the place we expected. The lights that should have been dim were very bright. It ruined the mood. The menu was all over the place. Our waiter wasn't good. He left after giving our appetizer and didn't appear until 25 minutes later to take our meal order. The BBQ calamari was mediocre at best. My entree salad was actually very, very good. Overall, it was just confusing and the mood conflicted.

I had the wings cuz it was Wednesday wing night. Good and crispy Cajun. Had other choices I need to come back for-peanut butter sauce hamburger (i prefer chunky), stuffed burgers, diverse dinner choices. Service was good.

We have eaten here on several occasions over the past few years. Most of the time the food has been very good. On one occasion during Lent we had the fried fish special. It was awful. It came out very mushy as if it had been cooked too long. Tonight we stopped again for dinner. As we walked past the front of the building we could see through the window that there were 5 open tables in the middle section of the restaurant. One inside the hostess told us that we would have to wait until there was an open booth. We weren't offered a table in the middle section. We walked out!! It was very apparent that the middle section wasn't being used by a large party or group. She just didn't want to wear is there. Will not be going back any time soon!!!Hi Szwolinski, So sorry to hear you didnât have a great experience at our restaurant! We felt awful when you left last night. The kitchen had just received so many orders/tickets at once the tickets were hanging down to the floor. Also, we donât typically seat a small party at a large table, but sure wouldâve if we knew you didnât want to wait for a smaller table. Iâm usually up front to greet you, but had to go help the cooks when they got so busy. As far as our beer battered fish fry, during lent & year round we often have a line at the door itâs so popular. Wish you wouldâve alerted us to your fish so we couldâve remade it for you! :(.. When we get too many orders at once, the cook might overload the fryer & the oil temp drops causing some to be less crisp. I order mine extra crispy. Hope youâll give us another try. Ask for me, Joe. Iâd love to serve you our delicious food!!

We all ordered nachos and they left us wanting more. There were toppings on the top of the nachos but in the mound of chips underneath it there was nothing. Layering the toppings throughout would have been much better as after we ate the nachos with toppings about half of the nachos were left plain.Service was good but food could have been better.

This is located within the Aurora Inn. Their happy hour has many affordable options and they do carry a kids menu. The eating area is connected to the bar, so sometimes you may overhear their conversations.

Stopped in for dinner with my coworker. Updated interior but kept it historic looking. Great food and service. Tried the pizza and it was great. Higher end pricing but thatâs the type of place it is. Will go back on my next visit

They offer a varied menu (I suggest the spinach chicken salad). Don't forget to try their martini's, as they do a great job with those as well.
