Just popped into this place by chance because the restaurant across the street was closed, but we were far from disappointed. Nice staff, decent prices, but - most importantly- very nice food. We had the cod gratin and the alentejanian pork dish with small clams - absolutely delicious! Highly recommend.

Fish is obviously the thing to order. You get to choose your own fish, but we got no question about how we would like it served. It arrived with a few cooked potatoes and a small salad at the side. Taste was good, but nothing exceptional. The staff was efficient, but not very helpful or customer focused. The interior is basic, wooden benches and paper cloths. Do not expect fine dining.The view from the outside tables is very nice.

Nice that this place has outside seating not far from the beach. The octopus salad for starter was actually good, but the fish was the worst I've had in the Alentejo coast. Service was dead slow. It took the waiters 33 min to bring my grilled fish. When it came to pay the check the servers were so confused that customers had to queue inside the restaurant to pay. If you waited at your table you'd better bring a sleeping bag for dinner.

We are two friends visiting Azenha Do Mar beach and stopped by the restaurant for some drinks. The service was really poor and they treat us (asian people) like we were not going to pay the bill. I saw that they respect other foreigners but the behave was different to us. I was really disappointed with the service.

The tasca is not easy to find because you don't see a sign at the main road when you are driving through. We got there because of the hint of tripadvisor. The surrounding at the restaurant is made with love. The waiters are really friendly. The taste of the starters was good. The portions of the main courses were big and the quality of the fish and meat was really good. Unfortunately they didn't have Lombo or a big selection of desserts. The price for the meals were adequate. We surely will come back when we will stay at Alentejo again.

The arroz de tamboril is simply amazing. Just these is enough to go there. Very friendly service. Very fresh fish from the nearby fisherman.

This was by far one of the most delicious seafood dinners we had the pleasure to eat. Everything was seasoned perfectly and presented beautifully. The service was outstanding in a beautiful environment. We will be back for sure.Dies war mit Abstand eines der köstlichsten Abendessen mit Meeresfrüchten, die wir gegessen haben. Alles war perfekt gewürzt und wunderschön präsentiert. Der Service war hervorragend in einer wunderschönen Umgebung. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen

Selected this restaurant based on other TA reviews and were not disappointed. The monkfish and clam stew was excellent and so were the shrimps. Would return without hesitation. Note that this place is cash only unless you have a Portuguese credit card.

Very welcoming stuff, simple and cleary understandable menue. Food after apetizers arrived pretty fast- in 20 minits. Tasted arroz tamburilu, which is pretty big porcion for 2 persons. Did not even finish all dish :/ delicious cake, which was served really big peace, so we shared it! Amazing fruit sangria from champagne! First impression- so simple and almoust empty restaurant.. but in really nice atmpsphere. Advising for lunch!
