Basso Aarhus is social dining with a Italian Twist, in the very heart of Aarhus. The menucard is inspired of traditional Italian dishes, with our nordic legacy.
I unfortunately only had a chance to try their snacks; ravioli, risotto balls, and Fried squids. All were really delicious. The only thing I didn't like was that the portions were extremely small. Especially the ravioli pieces.. But they were all very very tasty. The restaurant is cosy with a nice decoration. Staff is helpful. They serve bread and olive oil until everyone arrives at your table or until you decide what to get. Their bread was fresh and warm. Very nice. They have a social dining concept. Meaning that they won't take your orders until all the expected friends arrive. They offer fixed menus as well as a la carte. I will go there again to try their main dishes for sure.

Nordisk Spisehus is a luxurious gourmet restaurant, where you can enjoy exquisite Nordic dishes and delicious wine on a sensory journey to the world's best Michelin-restaurants.
I celebrated my birthday here with 8 family members. The staff was beyond accommodating and professional. The food was sublime. It's an expensive restaurant - but well worth the $ on a special night.

The food is excellent, "interesting setting": You sit in a tent overlooking the sea in a storm! But it is heated. However its absolutely not fair on staff (or guest) to let a young girl loose as server, when she obviously recieved absolutely NO TRAINING in either the menu nor the way you serve food, and clear tables.

Norsminde Kro has 2 restaurants; The Gourmet restaurant located in the impressive wine cellar between more than 8,000 bottles of wine. The Gourmet restaurant is only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening and table reservation is necessary. 6 course m
Everything in this restaurant is OK but it is trying to be something that it isn't. First class restaurants provide efficient, professional 'unseen' service. This did not. The choice on the menu was limited and then served as if it was high cuisine. Definitely won't be visiting again

Restaurant Mejeriet is a fine dining restaurant with focus on local produce. Highly regarded, rewarded and former michelin chef, Allan Poulsen is our headchef and presents a classic take on the new nordic dining style, with good taste in focus.
The restaurant is situated in the former dairy of the Castle Wilhelmsborg. The Castle is now a municipal office and the farming Buildings have been converted to a center for horse riding.Hotel facilities are not available nearby. We had a gourmet dinner with a wine menu. The food was excellent and the choice of wine was very good too. The surroundings are charming with the old, whitewashed walls visible. The service was fine too.We can highly recommend this place and will like to return some day.

If you like your stjerneskud simple and fresh, this is the place to go. White fish, breaded fish, some shrimps, some dressing and salad, large pieces of white asparagus on white toast. You sit on comfortable outdoor "sofas" of bolted-together wooden pallets as you watch boats sail by. Life is good. The only drawback - there is a very limited selection of wines. But one should have a beer with stjerneskud anyway. Life is still good as you enjoy the summer sun tempered by the cool breeze.

Evertything was wonderful, from the warm welcome to the first class food. Nothing fancy, just very good food made from first class ingredients. Extremely friendly staff made us want to come back as soon as possible. And the location is to die for.

Remarkable evening with exciting creations from the hugely talented chef. Malling Kro has a unique winecellar, and the owner is generous with the bottles, his professional approach and the wine in the glasses. The service is attentive, rewarding and comfortable - you just want to stay ...

I arrived into Aarhus quite late (after 9.00pm) on a Monday evening and was told most restaurants would be closed. However I luckily found Ombord and settled into a corner on my own after being made to feel most welcome by the waiting staff. The restaurant is quite small and intimate, and was busy in the main room. The food is mostly served as small plates and was beautifully presented. The salted cod and artichoke dishes were delicious - as was the local beer. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
